Yeeeeeeeeessssssssssssssss
F*cking get in you rip roaring, penalty taking Os.
Have a good night, everyone. Excellent evening in the Coach, curtailed by having to go home and walk the dogs. Booking a sitter for Wembley.

Re: Yeeeeeeeeessssssssssssssss
Whatever happens at Wembley, what a season. And what a manager Wellens has been for us. I was thinking earlier that I didn't expect something to come close to that night at Gillingham for a long while. And he's done it again.

Both cut from similar cloth, true leaders and winners. We're privileged to have had both in a relatively short space of time

They were better team over two legs and probably better equipped for the championship but we had the winners mentality tonight and deserved it

Disagree with this totally. Al they had was set pieces. They had their chances but ultimately they weren’t good enoughNorth Stand Loafer wrote: ↑Wed May 14, 2025 11:47 pm They were better team over two legs and probably better equipped for the championship but we had the winners mentality tonight and deserved it

Yeah I agree. We contained them to basically nothing outside of set peices. Their only chances were when we got tired and a bit of a lucky/genius flick.HackneyO wrote: ↑Wed May 14, 2025 11:51 pmDisagree with this totally. Al they had was set pieces. Tie was pretty even I thought. Which played out in the scoreline

Re: Yeeeeeeeeessssssssssssssss
What an amazing time to be an orient fan. Feel privileged to have seen what we’ve seen in recent years under Wellens and before that Justin, given what went on in the years before.
As for the game, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a L1 football match played at such a high intensity and level of skill. The pace of the game was more akin to the championship than league 1. Breathless for 120 mins. Incredible and torturous to watch.
One more to go… COME ON ORIENT!!!

Re: Yeeeeeeeeessssssssssssssss
I watched the Wycombe v Charlton first leg, whether it was the pressure of the game I don't know but it was a really scrappy game lacking quality, if they play like that at Wembley, we have nothing to fear.Wally Banter wrote: ↑Wed May 14, 2025 11:17 pm If we can carry this resilience into one more game, you just never know…!
Re: Yeeeeeeeeessssssssssssssss
If we could only keep Keeley and Donley for another season………………. but hey - when we win the final and are in the Championship that would give Spurs the next stage in their development. We can only hope

I didn't think Donley was very effective last night. He was caught on the ball too much for my liking which was down to the pace the game was played at.
Bad decision making led to an early booking.

Agree, one of his worst games. He was caught in possession on numerous occasions.

He will have the perfect ‘showcase’ at Wembley to show other clubs and Spurs what he can do.Max B Gold wrote: ↑Thu May 15, 2025 9:38 am I didn't think Donley was very effective last night. He was caught on the ball too much for my liking which was down to the pace the game was played at.

Thankfully we have other players who can step up if Young Jamie is having an off night by his standards, like Galbraith who I thought was outstanding last night.

You're making judgements on my feelings about last night's victory because I said a player had a bad game... You get worse.Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Thu May 15, 2025 10:34 amRelentless.Chief crazy horse wrote: ↑Thu May 15, 2025 10:30 am Agree, one of his worst games. Donley, by his standards, was awful and he was robbed of the ball many times because of his dilly dallying.

Cch would use reaching the pearly gates as an opportunity to complain about Wellens touchline behaviour. Pathologically grumpy.
