Central line
If I am not mistaken the Central line will not be running on Saturday. This creates huge problems for fans trying to get to the game

Re: Central line
I understand that pump trolleys will be available on the Central Line on Saturday. You know, those little carts that you used to see in old Westerns where two guys pump a handle up and down to propel a little cart along the tracks. Max capacity is 6 though, so plan your journey carefully

How does one book a seat on this football special? And is there first class?Celtient wrote: ↑Thu May 08, 2025 6:41 pm I understand that pump trolleys will be available on the Central Line on Saturday. Re: Central line
I believe season ticket holders can do it online via the Orient ticket office and is limited to one per supporter. Be aware that if you currently get more than one season ticket through your account you will need to set up a separate linked account to facilitate a smooth transaction.HackneyO wrote: ↑Thu May 08, 2025 7:19 pmHow does one book a seat on this football special? When carrying out your transaction please remain calm at all times. The club is aware of how difficult new technology is for our OAPs.
Supporters club staff can pick up their free tickets for them, their family, pals and acquaintances from the office.
Probably less hassle to just get the bus.

I can’t remember my password, should I set up a new account or is there a phone number I can ring or a queue I can join.Max B Gold wrote: ↑Thu May 08, 2025 7:24 pmI believe season ticket holders can do it online via the Orient ticket office and is limited to one per supporter. By the time you’ve arsed around with the bus crowds and the shenanigans at Stratford station it will work out about the same time to get here on foot.

Re: Central line
Go to Barking on District Line, then change to the Overground (I don't know which of Sadiq's politically correctly named Lines this is) and take that to Leyton Midland Road station, come out of the station turn left and follow the crowd - no, not the one to Tesco's (anyone remember Max Boyce?) - the one to Brizzie Road.

Re: Central line
There is no actual seating available. Standing room only, which will be regarded as first class thus attracting premium pricing. Second class travel is available which is running along the track behind the pump trolley. They move relatively slowly so you should be able to keep up with itHackneyO wrote: ↑Thu May 08, 2025 7:19 pmHow does one book a seat on this football special? Re: Central line
Not sure walking is a good idea, as this may involve map reading or an interaction with a well known online mapping app. I suspect our OAP crew would struggle a bit.Long slender neck wrote: ↑Fri May 09, 2025 8:47 am Walking or bus from Stratford isnt too bad either.

There will also be the chance of fighty stuff as Stoke Ports have the same disadvantage.Max B Gold wrote: ↑Fri May 09, 2025 9:03 amNot sure walking is a good idea, as this may involve map reading or an interaction with a well known online mapping app. I suspect our OAP crew would struggle a bit.Long slender neck wrote: ↑Fri May 09, 2025 8:47 am Walking or bus from Stratford isnt too bad either.

Should be decent weather, looking forward to stretching my legs before and after the game. Especially if Richie needs me to play

Google maps give 36 mins via A112 or 42 mins by the more pleasant route.
Call it 40 mins give or take.
