Re: Starman Awards
Super fans that don’t look at the team sheet to see if ‘Danny’ is actually playing..

Re: Starman Awards
Donley has been outstanding in the last few weeks, very good earlier in 2025, average in December 2024 and a calamity for the first 4 months of the season. Giving him Player of the Season ahead of Galbraith, Omar, Currie and Kelman is the football equivalent of a judge giving the points to the boxer who starts throwing windmills for the last 15 seconds of a round.

Re: Starman Awards
That Currie doesn’t get an award is a travesty
Could we have a MB whip round or something and award Jack
‘Outstanding full back of the season ‘ award or something similar

Re: Starman Awards
Galbraith has been pretty decent playing as an inverted right back. Would need to make it either best LB or best traditional full back.

Re: Starman Awards
Same as both 2019 and 2023, lots of genuine contenders for the top prize. It's almost as if you need several players to perform well to be successful.

Re: Starman Awards
Calamity is an exaggeration but absolutely no way is he our PotS, any of the 4 you mention - and probably even Keeley - all far and away more consistent over the past 9 months. Madness and based on that one goal (which wasn't even his).Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Tue May 06, 2025 9:01 am Donley has been outstanding in the last few weeks, very good earlier in 2025, average in December 2024 and a calamity for the first 4 months of the season. Re: Starman Awards
The James Milner award for quiet consistency. He's there week in week out giving you a 7/10 or above every game, been a great signing.

Re: Starman Awards
With 10 assists and 8 goals hardly based on that one goal. Not to mention he’s all round play. He had a slow start, but has developed into an outstanding player. I agree probably not POTS but he’s certainly up there.Proposition Joe wrote: ↑Tue May 06, 2025 10:06 amCalamity is an exaggeration but absolutely no way is he our PotS, any of the 4 you mention - and probably even Keeley - all far and away more consistent over the past 9 months.
