Think it’s been more of a 5 defensively, with cooper 3rd cb and shuffling over to cover Williams when he’s acting as a winger. Currie’s athleticism means we don’t need a 5 when he starts.

The big question is do you change a winning team to bring Currie back in? Nice selection headache to have, in Wellens we trust...

Depends on Stockport.

Against Huddersfield, the 5-3-2 worked unbelievably well - sit back, don't press too high collectively, nick the ball back and hit them quickly. I'm guessing we won't adopt the same tactics at home, so if Currie is fit, we return to a back 4 and he starts.

The difference last time out was unfortunately Reg and Cooper couldn’t deal with Wooton in the air. Omar is a much better match up. I think Currie comes back in but Cooper has been very good of late.

I think Currie could play that cooper role more than adequately if needed with the left sided attacker dropping back into a wingback role if we’re under pressure.

Not saying you would, just that he has the ability in the air to step over and provide support centrally.
