Re: Donley ..
I said in the Donley thread early on a few times since, he is a special player, he will end up in the Premership, he sees passes that other players don't and the better he plays the more he will come alive plus he works so hard
I think after a tough start maybe due to him thinking it would be far easier, he knuckled down and I think learned to do what Richie wants and that has made him so much better for both of them really

Re: Donley ..
If, and that’s a very big if, we do make the Chamionship, spurs could do at lot worse than send him back for another 12 months.
Still don’t think he’s going to be a Tottenham regular.

Re: Donley ..
The one good thing is Tottenham can't make the Europa or Conference League but only the Champions League, as I think in the early rounds of both of them they could give him minutes as some of the opponents are such low levelHoover Attack wrote: ↑Sat May 03, 2025 8:57 pm If, and that’s a very big if, we do make the Chamionship, spurs could do at lot worse than send him back for another 12 months.

They're in the Europa, so if they win it go into the Champions League, West Ham won the conference and Chelsea will win it this yearBandy Legs wrote: ↑Sat May 03, 2025 9:07 pmThought they went into the Europa league if they win thr Conference like the claret & blue mobessexfootball wrote: ↑Sat May 03, 2025 9:01 pmThe one good thing is Tottenham can't make the Europa or Conference League but only the Champions League, as I think in the early rounds of both of them they could give him minutes as some of the opponents are such low levelHoover Attack wrote: ↑Sat May 03, 2025 8:57 pm If, and that’s a very big if, we do make the Chamionship, spurs could do at lot worse than send him back for another 12 months.

They qualified for the Europa league by winning the conference though like the C&Bessexfootball wrote: ↑Sat May 03, 2025 9:08 pmThey're in the Europa, so if they win it go into the Champions League, West Ham won the conference and Chelsea will win it this yearBandy Legs wrote: ↑Sat May 03, 2025 9:07 pmThought they went into the Europa league if they win thr Conference like the claret & blue mobessexfootball wrote: ↑Sat May 03, 2025 9:01 pm

Re: Donley ..
Big step up from L1 to Championship then another huge step from there to Prem. Would think a loan to a Championship side would be next step. Still possible for that to be Orient.

Re: Donley ..
I agree.
I’d love it to be with us but, despite what an incredible job Richie has done with him, i can see Tottenham wanting him with a bigger side that won’t be hanging on in games as much as you’d expect we would.

Re: Donley ..
Yeah gut instinct was thinking he'd get to express himself in a squad at the top end of the Championship, though Richie's record developing Donley from naive youth to first team key player could help swing in our favour should we make it to the promised landHoover Attack wrote: ↑Sun May 04, 2025 12:50 pmI agree.
