Remarkably chilled. It just feels very different to when we last had a shot for the Championship in 2014.

Just awoken in a sweat from a surreal stressy dream (the game was taking place in a full swimming pool???) where we drew 0-0 and Reading won 1-0 (they scored in the first half).

But yeah, I’m absolutely chill about tomorrow too.

I’m ok about it at the moment, but I’ll be anxious tomorrow. If we do get into the playoffs then it won’t be like last time. Back in 2014 we’d been in the top 3 for most of the season and fell away right at the end, and ended up losing to a team that had finished some way below us. That one really hurt. This time we are the ones making the last-minute push and so anything after Saturday will be a bonus.

I’ve said many times that if we do get to another playoff final then I’m turning my phone off and heading out on my old motorbike for the afternoon. I’ve seen all three final defeats, and if we get to this final it’s likely we’ll be playing Charlton and I don’t think that’ll end well for us.

But yeah, let’s see what happens tomorrow first.

Nope. That team was a joy to watch. This one has been far more erratic over the season and despite the occasional flashes of brilliance, weve been more workmanlike than Slade’s team.

The results have been erratic ie the two bad runs because of a dodgy keeper and a defensive injury crisis. Did we even have any injuries in 2014 other than to Jones late on?

The team that I expect to take to the field tomorrow is better IMO.
