Charlton will finish above Wycombe and that means we’ll play Charlton if we finish 6th. I really don’t fancy out chances but we do have a 100% record of winning playoff semi finals, so…The Reverend wrote: ↑Sat Apr 26, 2025 3:48 pm Huge win. Re: Exiles thread
We were slow after half time, as always. But we were the team pushing on for the last part of the first half.Mistadobalina wrote: ↑Sat Apr 26, 2025 3:05 pm Aside from an iffy ten minutes either side of half time, we played that really well. Apart from a couple of speculative efforts, Wycombe didn't create much and we should have got another 1 or 2. Donley, Galbraith and Beckles were superb.

I thought the whole team played well . Going in to the last game of the season and everything is still in our own hands . I fancy us to beat Huddersfield so I think we're going to do it

45 games of emotional torture has left us in a great position. Next Saturday is going to be a strain for the nerves

I honestly couldn't even begin tell you how we lined up throughout the game but yep, it worked.

Probably the best 90 minutes performance for a while today, which was encouraging and a clean sheet

Agreed, best side I’ve seen here all season. They were quality in every department.

After Charlton’s loss to Wrexham the only way they finish 3rd is to beat Burton by at least 6, while Stockport (3) and Wycombe (4) draw with each other.Stowaway wrote: ↑Sat Apr 26, 2025 3:59 pmCharlton will finish above Wycombe and that means we’ll play Charlton if we finish 6th. Yeah, I didn’t expect Charlton to go down like that yesterday.LeighO wrote: ↑Sat Apr 26, 2025 11:28 pmAfter Charlton’s loss to Wrexham the only way they finish 3rd is to beat Burton by at least 6, while Stockport (3) and Wycombe (4) draw with each other.Stowaway wrote: ↑Sat Apr 26, 2025 3:59 pmCharlton will finish above Wycombe and that means we’ll play Charlton if we finish 6th. Re: Exiles thread
Next Sat going to be very nervy
Huddersfield & Barnsley both have nothing but pride to play for, so should be 2 wins for The O’s & Reading, but, but, we all know it won’t be that simple.
If/when we make play offs, either Stockport, Wycombe Or Charlton will be very difficult games over 2 legs.
I would fancy us v any team in the league over 2 games, but if I could pick 1 of the 3 teams, I would pick Wycombe.
We will be playing Charlton in L1 playoff final, and we owe them one, after their late smash n grab at Brizzy back in March.
