QPR have a state of the art multi million pound training facility that opened in the summer, I don't know if you have been to our training ground but the pitches there are OK nothing more it's a school sports ground - we have improved the pitches there as much as we can without digging them up and starting again.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 1:26 pm I think I can remember Richie saying something about our training ground could be contributing to our injury problems . He might be on to something because since Paul Smyth rejoined QPR he’s hardly been injured. Being a Championship club I would imagine their training facilities are better than ours. My QPR supporting mate at work keeps mentioning about how often Smyth has played for them since he’s been back.

Smyths on going calf/hamstring issues when on loan with us were not due to the playing surface he trained on.

Re: More Injury News
It OK,it’s Old Chigwellians but it’s not really good enough for an ambitious L1 club, it’s one small building. We signed Paul Smyth with an injury good player but his first season was frustrating.Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Fri Apr 11, 2025 1:05 pmIt’s not just any old school.Top of the JES wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 1:37 pmQPR have a state of the art multi million pound training facility that opened in the summer, I don't know if you have been to our training ground but the pitches there are OK nothing more it's a school sports ground - we have improved the pitches there as much as we can without digging them up and starting again.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 1:26 pm I think I can remember Richie saying something about our training ground could be contributing to our injury problems .
