We haven't looked like getting back into this at all..
I think the reality is that we had a purple patch between scraping past Boreham Wood in the Cup and the dogged win at Wrexham sandwiched between two very mediocre spells . We were simply not as good as advertised unfortunately.
I’ve no idea what’s happened, but we were really bloody good for those 12-14 games or so. I mean, properly good. So that makes this complete drop-off so inexplicable.

What is the matter with us? Such a poor performance against a poor side. Can't understand why we're playing like this. So so disappointed with us.

All this talk of play offs, could you actually imagine this side in the Championship? Its lightyears away from being Championship ready and that’s including the loan players who make up the first team and will be off in the summer.

Abysmal. Every single person involved bears responsibility for that, including Wellens. Wrong starting 11 and let the game run away from us.

Need to completely revamp our central midfield in the summer, has become the obvious weak spot of the side. Cannot seem to control a game anymore.

unfortunately, we never replaced El Miz. With him or someone similar in the team we'd be where Charlton are now.

We were a shambles and got what we deserved. For long periods we couldnt hold on to the ball for more than a few seconds. No one up front could control the ball and keep it.
The unbeaten spell during December and January was a fluke, we are hopeless at the moment.
With a lot of players coming to the end of their contracts, lets hope we bring in much better quality

Bolton, Stockport and Wycombe have beaten Burton in their last few games, we couldn't do it which is why they are top 6 and we aren't.

Real lack of creative spark that was abundant 4-5 weeks ago.

Still in with a sniff though thanks to the results.

We seemed to really be struggling to get the ball forward quickly near the end when we needed a goal, too much fiddling about at the back. Credit to Burton for good pressing.

That was meant to be Ball but he's never looked fully fit and I think came on tonight then promptly gave possession away leading to the second goal. Not one to keep on come summer, use the money to try and tempt El Miz back.

15 or 16 unbeaten is hardly a fluke.
Depth of squad quality is the reason we have collapsed

We score a goal, then stop playing. Same every time.
Still, we are really not good enough for the play offs and would have been a total disaster in the Champ. Lets hope we can improve the squad for next season.

Very poor second half. Browns passing has been terrible. Prately looks to be knackered. Poor Kelman looks alone up front.

And in a cruel twist of irony having beefed up the forward line it's the defence that's been the area we've fallen short in.

Midfield was awful tonight. Couldnt stop anything coming through it which in turn knackers the defence.

All the more reason why when we've got a team under the cosh, we should go for the second and third instead of fannying around at the back.

If you can't keep the ball, follow midfield runners or generally ease the amount of pressure on the backline, you'll concede chances and goals. It's been a problem since the Charlton game. Don't think Happe or Reg did much wrong tonight, ball watching for the second goal aside.

Totally agree not good enough. Donley not in the game.DJ rubbish Brown passing was rubbish. We played into their hands with long balls going straight to their players.players like Markandy Azeem not convincing me to be L1 players. They played us off the park in the second half and deserved 3 points

Happe was very good. Personally I thought REG was below par.

Think Richie should have made changes earlier, everyone apart from RW could see what was happening
Don’t like to criticise Richie as he’s been a brilliant manager for us, but the changes were just too late.
Asking a lot of Prats to play two a week.

As you say Ball’s lack of fitness should be a signal for the club to move on. Likewise Pratley imho. Tries hard but at nearly 40 we need better.

The problem with James (and Happe too) is they seem to only be good for half a season with the rest spent injured. Is that sustainable if we want to go to the next level?
