Want as much money in the kitty for the new investors early doors
Re: 25/26 season tickets on sale NOW
£10 extra if you want a physical card now.
It's beyond me why, for renewals, they can't just extend the validity of the QR code on an existing card.
I thought when I got this season's that maybe that's why they didn't have the date printed on them, to make them reusable for future seasons. But I guess not, that would be too sensible.

There should be an additional cost for insisting on a physical card.

Strange choice of fans for inclusion on the promotional material, I must say.

Can someone do the maths on whether ghost kid scam is still viable?

NHS staff are concessions? You mean I could have just been getting the OH to buy my ticket all this time?

I don't necessarily disagree, wasn't my main point.Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Mon Mar 24, 2025 1:54 pmThere should be an additional cost for insisting on a physical card.
My point was that instead of charging for a new physical card each year for those that want/need them, they could just add a renewal to existing ones.
And I'd maybe quibble slightly with your use of "insisting" - feels like your maybe implying wanting a physical card is unreasonable but there can be good reasons why someone wants one.
For example, my dad's now partially sighted. Much easier for him to have a physical item than deal with a accessing a digital one on a phone.

Still worthwhile. Adult TJS is £67 more expensive than an Adult North Stand ticket. A ghost kid ticket in the North is just £62. So £5 cheaper and worthwhile for just one adult.Long slender neck wrote: ↑Mon Mar 24, 2025 1:56 pm

Obviously the real benefits kick in when you have 4 or 5 mates joining together and benefitting from the 1 ghost kid ticket.

And this is just against the South stand, where I doubt you can even get a ST as they're all taken. The savings compared to the East and West are huge.

Is there even a restriction on adults buying STs in the Incel Consulting Community Cash Converters Stand?

It used to be that you had to have a kids application within the group, no idea if that's still the case.
You can buy a single adult ticket on the day, I know that much.

Re: 25/26 season tickets on sale NOW
Many of us have been well pi$$ed off at the lack of Saturday 3pm games due to either TV or International breaks and I wonder if this will affect the number of fans buying season tickets ??
What do we all think………

Re: 25/26 season tickets on sale NOW
Well you did ask. Firstly the buggering about of fixture dates and times away from traditional 3.00pm Saturday matches is an issue for me as I can generally only make Saturday home games because of other caring commitments and extensive travel involved in getting to games because of where I now have to live. Secondly I am very aware of the argument put forward by some on here that If you have a Season Ticket you should attend (it ain’t that simple people) and I have some sympathy for that view. Thirdly the Ticket Exchange doesn’t provide enough incentive to use it. Finally though I have supported the O’s for tens of years including periods where I purchased a Season Ticket just to support the Club and to sever that commitment is a bloody big issue for me for so many reasons including the generations of my family that have gone before me and our unwavering support for the O’s.
I’ve mulled it all over. I hate the Sky deal, I hate the EFL. I will always love and support our Club. Outcome…..I will renew for next season but with significant reservations and it may well be for the last time.

My scenario is similar-ish, though I can easily attend midweek games as I work in central london.Omygawd wrote: ↑Mon Mar 24, 2025 4:23 pmWell you did ask. I only live 40miles from E10 but I pick and choose the Saturdays when I attend. I have no shame in doing that. I will always use the ticket exchange if it's offered and it does get taken up.
I am the same - I have a ST so I can support the club financially, but does that mean I have to attend Every home game? - it's my choice.
I've had the same seat for 17 seasons and though some on here would argue that I should let it go for someone new and "better", I'd wonder if that new and improved fan would be there on a Tuesday night at home to Halifax in the National League, as I was - were the club to drop down again..
Those that can commit to every single home game without fail, and criticise those that don't - may need to ask if they have anything else going in their lives.

Yes, I did ask as I reckon there are many fans like you who will think long and hard about renewing for next season for the reasons you and ‘Scuba ‘ mention.Omygawd wrote: ↑Mon Mar 24, 2025 4:23 pmWell you did ask. I 101% sympathise with you as Football seems to have ‘sold its soul’ to TV and now we have to play when they say.
Nobody gives an fcuk about the fans and how they will be inconvenienced by the regular cancellations or games being moved like the Stevenage game to a Thursday night with an 8pm KO
Some fans will struggle to get home, leaving the ground around 10pm……..
I’m fortunate in that I can get home and am retired, so don’t have to worry about work.
I heard that the club weren’t happy about being scheduled for Saturday home games earlier this season for each international break, I wonder if they can do anything about this for next season.

I may be wrong but I think most - if not all - gripes are with those ST holders who do not make use of the Ticket Exchange when they can't attend, especially when games are selling out.Scuba Diver wrote: ↑Mon Mar 24, 2025 7:50 pmMy scenario is similar-ish, though I can easily attend midweek games as I work in central london.Omygawd wrote: ↑Mon Mar 24, 2025 4:23 pmWell you did ask. Re: 25/26 season tickets on sale NOW
The peeing around of the games hit us badly at the start of the season but that was made worse by the fact we were sh*t at the time. If we'd been flying then, it wouldn't have mattered so much.Omygawd wrote: ↑Mon Mar 24, 2025 4:23 pmWell you did ask. We're not quite "there" at Orient yet and I hope we never will be (though the club shows signs of this), but up the Leagues fans aren't really even regarded as suchCheshunto wrote: ↑Mon Mar 24, 2025 8:10 pmYes, I did ask as I reckon there are many fans like you who will think long and hard about renewing for next season for the reasons you and ‘Scuba ‘ mention.Omygawd wrote: ↑Mon Mar 24, 2025 4:23 pmWell you did ask. They are just a file on a database- a cash cow to be milked and bled dry- put simply, a customer. The clubs have zero regard other than what they can extract from them in monetary terms.
This is why non league is booming- people are becoming sick of being treated like simpletons that exist only to be bled dry to fill the bank accounts of achingly average footballers.

Re: 25/26 season tickets on sale NOW
Question,do people on here especially ST holders think that next season will be much the same as this season in regards to,international breaks and stupid TV schedule times ? Would that make any difference difference to weather you renew or not.
Question. When Gailbraith is sold and some of the money is made available to Wellens would that make any difference to whether you would renew?
Question,if money were available to Wellens would you expect the club to( for a change) purchase better players earlier than they usually do and would that make a difference if you renew or not?

I have been trying to contact the club. Am I right in thinking any ticket exchange monies earned during the season should be credited against next seasons price? There is no provision for this on the renewal form.
