Great news that he starts. That'll add a few more £'s to his selling price. Good luck tonight Ethan.

Ethan Galbraith is a fantastic footballer, technically he is as good as I have ever been around in terms of younger players and he is starting to develop into a top class player.

I thought the same when I read them last night. Its not a bad shop window to be in, playing well for your country.

Michael O'Neill: "It was a really good performance from Ethan. He's another player who looks really comfortable playing international football. Technically he's so good as well. I always hoped Ethan would come through and I'm delighted that he has. He was a terrific young player, and it's a difficult situation to come through and be a player at Manchester United. He's had to go back down the leagues and I think Leyton Orient and [manager] Richie Wellens has been brilliant for him. "

Re: Galbraith plays for NI
Well done to both of them.
Hopefully, ££££'s for Ethan in the summer and a future stellar career.
Spurs will be pleased with what RW & team have done for Jamie Donley. Hopefully, they'll send us more of their best youngsters in seasons to come.

I thought Galbraith played very well. Donley looked a little lost in his cameo, he came on to play wide left but kept drifting into the middle where he did his best work. Interesting decision to play Smyth as a WB with Galbraith ahead of him. Ethan only dropped back to WB when Smyth was subbed.

Ireland mostly chasing the game but there were a couple of special moments from Ethan. Smythy also stood out, the work he got through was incredible.

In an ideal world I wish we could keep Ethan at Orient . If the club wants to get to the next level Ethan is the calibre of players we need to sign and keep . I hope our new investors can push our club further forwards and upwards .

Michael O’Neil comments above was part of an interview in the Sunday Express. Great review which could put Galbraith in the 5-10 million group when you consider players that Birmingham bought at the start of the season.Bergen wrote: ↑Sat Mar 22, 2025 8:46 am Michael O'Neill: "It was a really good performance from Ethan. Re: Galbraith plays for NI
sounds brutal but i say sell ethan in the summer, use the money to tie down loans like keeley and kelman on perms, renew Beckles, prats and agyei and get a right back, left back, and an attacking midfielder and a winger or two as cover for OON and Agyei (hopefully a few of them on perms but loans would do given our finances). We need an established team to make sure we don't have that rotten early season run we had in the last two years, if we want to make playoffs we need to be consistently good and get good results for the whole season. If the Teddie Lamb money hasn't already gone to our January budget then we should use it especially on kelman and keeley. We have a few players who will surely develop next year to become quality league 1 players - Perkins, Abdulai, etc.

Re: Galbraith plays for NI
Yup agree, Galbraith will likely want to challenge himself at the next level and we need to get the likes of Currie and Kelman signed on a permanent basis to build a strong spine for next season.DelightInE10 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 23, 2025 5:39 pm sounds brutal but i say sell ethan in the summer, use the money to tie down loans like keeley and kelman on perms, renew Beckles, prats and agyei and get a right back, left back, and an attacking midfielder and a winger or two as cover for OON and Agyei (hopefully a few of them on perms but loans would do given our finances). As above need a Currie equivalent at RB as it seems Clare is now a CM to all intents and purposes.

Re: Galbraith plays for NI
Ethan is going in the summer, no question. And rightly so.
Would love to see Perkins establish himself as a quality L1 player next season but he's not half got to go some.

Re: Galbraith plays for NI
When he played in the last friendly where he was MOM I noticed he was limping when subbed. Would not surspise me that he returned to the Os for treatment
