A safe signing. Only 6 months and so has everything to prove. A decent squad addition, making up just a little for the impending loss of Galbraith.

We need some levellers in the laws of the game. How stupid that we can't put our best side out against the Premier League Champions.
No wonder the FA cup has been devalued as a competition.

I have just read the clubs website on Williams and it states that we've signed him until the end of the 24/25 season . ? So we've only signed him until the end of this season ?

My point was rules need to evolve. Premiership teams now generally buy overseas players that are not cup tied, lower league buy domestic players who are.
Personally, I think that is widening the gap and making cup upsets less likely.

We can sign foreign players There is 1 at Burton scoring for fun and an Icelandic striker at Stockport.

Was discussed the other day. I agree, it’s no longer necessary with the window in place.

Not that the city game really matters, it’s all about next Tuesday night.

Good Luck Randell.
With him signing we can now put Azeez into his natural attacking midfield position using Prately as a sub

Tbh this is one of the first places I go when rumours are flying so I'm surprised I've not seen this earlier, but it was rumoured he stormed out of training last Friday which led to him being left of the squad against Blackpool, I've only seen it on X/Twitter so took it with a pinch of salt as a lot of bollocks on there, shame in true, thought he's looked decent when given the chance, if the chance the other week that spanked against the crossbar had gone in we'd probably still be talking about it

Was weird that he wasn’t on the bench if fit.

Can understand him getting uppity at lack of game time since he came here - no doubt he was expecting to play regularly - but his performances haven’t justified it. A shame if true as he started off really well but has definitely dipped since.

I think he’s a good addition to the squad but probably behind Ollie. If he’s happy with that fine if not then see ya. From what I’ve seen there’s no way he’s getting championship football until he’s had a full season somewhere proving himself
