Also, the equal pay claim was submitted by 4,000 women in 2010. No prizes for guessing the party affiliation of the Council leader in 2010.

One of the ironies of these cuts to public services, is that it then forces service providers into procurement decisions which are more expensive. This is happening throughout the education sector right now, with teachers opting for temp roles instead of full time positions.

And the only ones who benefit, as always, are the filthy, stinkin', dirty capitalist rats.

Enrichment for entrepreneurs, casualisation, insecurity and low remuneration for the workers.

If only there was someone radical enough to propose a mild social democratic alternative to full blown exploitation.

What is the argument for giving taxpayer funded taxis to kids with ADHD as opposed to asking parents to arrange their transport like every other child?

Surely it'd be better just to provide an ADHD bus and stick all those sort of kids on that?

Its not just Send kids, the council have to pay for transport for any kid living more than 3 miles from school. Over 40% in this case did not have special needs.

40% of the kids but 20% of the cost.

That 3 mile rule has been around forever and isn't the issue here.

So you’re saying child predators are more dangerous in Scotland?

Why is it so dangerous for kids to take public transport or walk to school in Scotland!?
