I'd sign the fella 8 days a week but he will probably be beyond our budget.
Yesterday was his worst game in ages; he almost looked disinterested. His running stats - by his standards - would have been low. In the 91st minute he goes from zero to hero and that's the beauty of being a striker.
Charlie is well down the pecking order at QPR so he would be better off signing for us . I know it's down to money but he's become a pivotal part of our team

Probably exhausted
Maybe emotionally but he only got 10 minutes on Tuesday so I can't see how.
He’s been flogged for the past couple of months. The fact he looked leggy yesterday is perfectly understandable.
What doesn’t make sense is how he was able to put in that performance against City.

Had barely been rested during the most intense spell of the season despite playing probably the most physically demanding role in the entire team. Guy was due an off day and still scored.
I was skeptical about him coming back but he's become one of our most important players. As long as Wellens is here next season, I'd have Kelman on a permanent in a heartbeat.
Hats off to Charlie, he's been excellent.
Like most strikers, he'll miss chances but he certainly scores some good ones as well. Never gives up.
He reminds me a bit of Chris Dagnall who gave everything on the pitch but I think Charlie has more ability than Daggers.
Look forward to the net billowing for his 20th.
On balance QPR fans want to see how Charlie will get on in the Championship next season (with QPR)
Some decent points made
Apparently Kelman has scored the most outfield goals in L1
Ie, excluding penalties
And noted Luton tried to sign Kone for a reputed £7m, who stats ain’t a million miles off Charlie boys.
Just wish we could somehow sign him https://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/ ... age:7/#173

I loved Dagnall but Kelman, this season at least, has been miles better.
If we want promotion either this season or next then players like Kelman , Currie and Galbraith are the type of calibre players we’re going to need. I hope our new investors have deep pockets otherwise I can’t see us progressing any further

This, it's hard enough with so few players under contract so getting the core of players who have performed will be pretty much the only way we can build on this season.
Galbraith will probably be sold but if that funds a few others then it's good business.
We've got a lot of wages being freed up from contracts ending so hope we can use that more efficiency but transfer fees will need to be spent if we want the likes of Currie and Kelman.
Just a few that will free up a nice chunk of cash...
Moncur
Pigott
Graham
Archibald
Ball (not done enough imo)
Howes (cheap but an unnecessary role that can be cut)
