Rick Buckler The Jam drummer - 69. RIP
Only 69, same age as me. Too young. But what a legacy he's left behind. RIP Rick.
Going to find my Jam Greatest Hits CD to play in the car.

Used to like that as a kid. I would have sworn he was in his 70s in the 90s!

Actor Gene Hackman has died, aged 95, alongside his wife and dog.
One of my favourite actors, loved his performances in Mississippi Burning and Crimson Tide.
RIP

Something very very iffy with the Gene Hackman thing.
Do you think it might be the KKK getting revenge for what he did to them in Mississippi?

My guess is Hackman wanted out, ensured his wife went with him.
Police pretty quickly stated there was "no foul play" - so that would exclude murder-suicide I'd have thought.

He dies of natural causes is my take on this, and she decides to follow him with an OD.

No, the initial discovery showed no signs of foul play - there was no statement that there was no foul play - but as the more detail emerged, police sought a search warrant.

The dog that also died - XL Bully? Maybe he did his owners in and then, feeling some remorse, topped himself? Just a theory.

The dog was found in a closet. Probably locked in there and starved to death.

XL Bully dogs are the only ones of the Species that doesn't have a conscience. So that theory is a red herring.
