More of a case he won't not sign a new dealStowaway wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 9:17 amHe’s being let go by Posh, who are at the arse end of the 3rd division. He’s not going to be commanding either big wages or big signing on fee.moonwalk19 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 8:27 amNo chance. We could not afford his wages . As a free agent you would expect him to want a heavy signing on fee as well.

Re: Kypraniou
I have never understood the fuss. When he was with us he had a 37 year old doing his running for him. Completely overrated. Just could never see it. I still haven’t changed my mind.

Re: Kypraniou
He played in defence for Cyprus against Norway a few months back and looked decent in that position. I think Watford tried to sign him on deadline day, but Hector didn`t want to move. At 24 he must be in a good position to find a new club on a higher level next season.

I don't think anyone is 'digging him out' rich, they just don't go along with the adulation poured on him by some. They simply disagree.

Re: Kypraniou
He's 23 with 2 seasons at L2 and now 3 seasons at L1 football under his belt, he's captain of his team, Peterboro slapped a £3m price on him last summer and have rejected a bid from a Championship club this window.
It's not 'adulation', it's just recognising he's just a good footballer. It's bonkers that some people still can't see it.

Re: Kypraniou
I think clubs see through the Peterborough last-year-of-contract price tag now. Seems they were the only ones thinking he was worth £3 million and now they're more worried about relegation than whatever low amount was offered to then during the window just gone.Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 8:08 pm Peterboro slapped a £3m price on him last summer and have rejected a bid from a Championship club this window.
Give me Ebou Adams or El Miz over Kyprianou any day. Interestingly the Peterborough fans seem to be fed up with him too this season.

Hector sends Posh to Wembley scoring the winning penalty after being 2-0 down.
Paul Mullin & Eliott Lee both miss penalties
