Re shoplifting, hasn't this all gone nuts since the Tough On Crime Tories introduced the policy of not prosecuting (or at least not imprisoning) anyone who stole less than £200 worth of stuff? The number of people I see stuffing their pockets and sauntering out of our local Co-op is absolutely nuts and, when you're queuing up to pay, I sometimes wonder if I'm being a complete mug. I don't blame the store staff for not tackling them, btw.

Would genuinely love to be out shopping and see a well known boarder saunter out of the shop with an armful of stolen groceries

I once saw ex gambling boarder Paulie Walnuts ( is Beach Rhythm still running?) eyeing up the beef on the top shelf in Tesco. He didn't bother in the end as the steaks were too high.

I quite often take the security guard at our local supermarket to work. Whilst he would like to get "involved" he is instructed not to.

It doesn't help that the electrical goods are located close to the fire doors and opens out to the loading bays where a sort of reverse loading operation takes place or that the store is a five minute walk from Feegy Park.

All the little ones now have those Perspex shields surrounding the checkout area. It’s like being in a bank.

Bike theft. Even if you have a GPS tag, and can direct the police to the property in which your stolen bike is being stashed, they wont do anything.

LGBT+ used to be punishable here, and still is in many countries.
