bringing un youth players is always a risk but if we want to get anywhere near playoffs we need depth out wide and if we apparently have no money like richie and nigel say this is our only option. the teddie lamb and potential cup run money i reckon should be spent on getting keeley on a perm

Getting in an untried kid with no senior experience is not the only option.

Get someone in who has already had a stint on loan - see El Miz, Forde, ONeill etc for players that hit the ground running (ish).

Depends on the quality of the player. Players like Mikey Moore and Ethan Nwaneri have stepped straight into the premier league, surely there's a bunch out there that can step straight into league one.

Plus you're being very generous with Forde and O'Neil there.

A bunch? There are a handful of kids with the ability and temperament to step straight into mens football at any level and as nice as it would be, I don't think Spurs are loaning us Moore any time soon, at least not now the anti-biotics have finally shifted the nasty little dose he was struggling with.

How am I being generous with Forde and ONeill? Ollie was straight in and away for us. Shaq was excellent in his first couple of games too.

Wholeheartedly get the points being made about untried and untested loanees and the Adu-Adjei and Edwards debacle is still all too fresh, however I can't help but get a little excited about a young unknown player coming in and being an absolute smash. Great players have to make a start somewhere, why not with us.
