EFL Trophy tomorrow- boycott?
It's been a couple of years since we were in this comp. Crowds are generally down on the old JPT Trophy for a number of reasons, including a boycott over the introduction of academy/reserve sides. What are people's thoughts? Is anyone not going that would have gone in the competitions old form?

I would have gone in the past against Southend but absolutely not going. I'm going to donate the entry fee and the programme cost to the JE Foundation instead for every game we are in.

Absolutely not going and won't do so again until the B-Teams are removed.

I used to go to all the JPT games before they introduced the B-teams.
Boycotted the 2016-17 season & will not go (or listen) to another game in the competition until B-teams are removed.

It’s one of the very few games before November I could get to. I’ve never been excited by the Paint Pot early rounds, but I’m definitely boycotting whilst the B teams are still involved.

Certainly can't be bothered to come up from Colchester for this. Bring back the Anglo Scottish Cup.

Re: EFL Trophy tomorrow- boycott?
I'm not going tomorrow but would be ridiculous and totally inaccurate to call that a boycott. Same probably goes for most of the people not going.

I’d like to think that we will dip below 1,000, but probably won’t as it’s a game against the Mudrats.

Re: EFL Trophy tomorrow- boycott?
I am boycotting the equivalent competition up here - the Scottish Challenge Cup - known this year as the Tunnock's Caramel Wafer cup (I shall NOT be boycotting Tunnock's products though). On Saturday Raith Rovers entertain Falkirk, but they'll do it without me.
Not only does the competition include SPL Colt teams, they've also included teams from Wales, Ireland and even England. It is a farce of a cup and several of my pals are also boycotting.

Looking forward to the impending twitter arguments about how the real orient fans are. those or go to this, or those who dont.

Not entirely sure I would given the extortionate entrance fee that Wembley would charge and our current form there.CreamofSumYungGai wrote: ↑Mon Sep 02, 2019 2:36 pm Bet everyone changes their tune if we get to Wembley.

Plus comedy night at the Coach & Horses isn’t until next week so you can get your dose of funny for the week watching Alabi run around like a headless chicken.
