Kelman hits 10
After all the tears when Ruel left, Charlie has hit Rules total already. Seems to be the upgrade we all doubted.
Well done Charlie, really pleased for you, may it long continue in an Os shirt. Would be very happy if this was to be a perm move.

Nearly at Ruel's tally for last season already and a lot more useful to the squad. Keep going Charlie

Agreed . I was one of those who was worried when Ruel left . Fair play to Charlie because he's been great for us and long may it continue.

Re: Kelman hits 10
I don't see any season why he couldn't hit 20. Well done to Charlie and the rest of the Orient side today . We had to dig in the last six minutes or so but we definitely deserved the win .

Very average player, people are being blinded, when a real striker arrives at the club at some point, you'll realise what we should have and right now could be with another Ayegi or top attaching player

Re: Kelman hits 10
Ruel scored 11 league goals last season and 12 in total including FA cup.
Kelman has scored 7 league goals so far.
Comparing all of Kelmans goals (including 2 from that stupid pizza cup or whatever is it called now) is either misleading or just outright disingenuous.

You can bet your life if there’s a post praising a player or something else in that vein there will be someone happy to tear it down.
Charlie is in a good run of form, let’s hope it continues & give him our support.

Yes agree. Better perspective....he is very average but he's popping in a few goals here and there so not too bad.essexfootball wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2025 8:03 pm Very average player, people are being blinded, when a real striker arrives at the club at some point, you'll realise what we should have and right now could be with another Ayegi or top attaching player

Asking for facts isn’t tearing someone down.PKM wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2025 10:23 amSome folks are never happy! The Reverend wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2025 9:52 am Ruel scored 11 league goals last season and 12 in total including FA cup.

But yours wasn’t a factual post, only partially.

‘Comparing all of Kelmans goals (including 2 from that stupid pizza cup or whatever is it called now) is either misleading or just outright disingenuous.’
Opinion, not fact. And that is factual!
To give an example, ifwe win the Vertu trophy, which I assume you mean by ‘pizza cup’ then many of us will be very happy with a winning day out at Wembley & also the club will make money.

Re: Kelman hits 10
Charlie Kellman is a decent league 1 player who applies himself to the team ethos of defending from the front and still taking the opportunity to score 10 goals, he will go on to get 15- 20 this season, I just don't understand what some people want or expect.

Re: Kelman hits 10
Pointing out that comparing league goals only to total goals (including Pizza/Vertu cup) is not a fair comparison is not an opinion. It’s a fact.PKM wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2025 12:26 pm ‘Comparing all of Kelmans goals (including 2 from that stupid pizza cup or whatever is it called now) is either misleading or just outright disingenuous.’

Your waffling about winning the Vertu cup is an irrelevant point that you’ve decided to add.

Re: Kelman hits 10
I'm not a member of the Kelman fan club but you're the one being disingenuous here. Saying the records aren't comparable and people are being misleading when Kelman is only 4 shy of Sotiriou's 2023/24 League total with a whole half season left to play is just silly. The Reverend wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2025 10:52 amAsking for facts isn’t tearing someone down.PKM wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2025 10:23 amSome folks are never happy! The Reverend wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2025 9:52 am Ruel scored 11 league goals last season and 12 in total including FA cup.

Re: Kelman hits 10
This is a fair point, which makes the need to be misleading about league goals only compared to total goals in the original post even more bizarre.Proposition Joe wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2025 3:27 pmI'm not a member of the Kelman fan club but you're the one being disingenuous here.
