Josh Keeley

After watching the Tottenham goalkeeper display last night, I reckon that Keeley will go back in January. He made Hemmings look like a superstar..

As if they're going to recall a guy with a few L1 apps to be their first choice while Vicario is out. Come on.

If there is any truth whatsoever to the rumours we could be signing Keeley on a permanent basis then why would Spurs bother recalling him . They have enough goalkeepers on their payroll already .

Nonsense OP. Forster made 2 bad mistakes but overall he has proven himself to be a more than adequate substitute for Vicario in the last few weeks. The comparison with Hemings is ridiculous in the extreme and demonstrates yet another barely concealed sideswipe at an Orient player, loanee or not.

Josh has been an absolute star for us and no surprise that our form has improved since he took over in goal

According to some its nailed on we are signing an
U-21 international premier league clubs x choice goalie.
Yet we can't afford a player from QPR who is out of contract in June & unlikely to be retained by them & is free to talk to any club from January 1st

He's absolutely loving it here, was going nuts at the end.

Not sure why BL is so obsessed with the idea that we can't sign the guy. We signed an Ireland under 21 international from a premiership club this time last year.

I'm not obsessed with the idea we can't sign him.
I'm obsessed with the idea that if we can't afford Kelman
then we really can't afford Keeley.

Can Keeley be signed?
Of course he can, I'm just not sure he will.
But it would be great if he did

What a statement it would be from the club if we can sign Keeley in Jan and extend Currie until end of season.

With Oxford changing managers it must be more than likely that Currie will go back in January, shame if so.

Currie season long loan
https://www.leytonorient.com/news/2024/ ... mber-nine/

Do all these deals have get out/recall notices?
Concerned we might get Moncur & Piggs back.
Hope Currie stays

Ok, answered my own question

‘Players on a season-long loan can be recalled by parent clubs in the January transfer window but only if the two clubs have agreed a recall clause in advance.

A loan deal can be cancelled at any time in the season if both clubs concerned agree.’
So all depends on what we have agreed with Oxford Utd re Currie
