Not digging anyone out here, but do we need a coach who has been there, got the T shirt wrt sticking the ball in the back of the net? Is that something we are lacking from our coaching team?
We have a goalkeeping coach, we are well represented in terms of midfield experience with RW, McCormack.
But I feel forward play is worthy of the same attention goalkeepers get, it is difficult and perhaps it’s worth having a coach who has that experience and no how of forward play.
Ofcourse we did have Matt Harrold, who I’m sure contributed in that respect.
Not sure if clubs our size can run to that, but perhaps it could pay for itself if we are able to firstly create more opportunities and secondly score from them.
Do we need a forwards coach?

Probably not at the moment, at least Nathan Jones the Charlton manager doesn’t think so,
In his press conference after last nights game he said he never managed a team cut open so much as we did to Charlton, and that includes Man City. Apparently we had over 20 shots as well.

I’m not taking a short term view here, but a longer term one.
Just my view that the right person in this coaching capacity could be useful.
But I could be in a minority on this one, which is fine!
