The obsession with a naff non-league level goalie on this board really is baffling

If that did happen he wouldn’t be able to play. Which is a shame because with that calamity between the sticks it would be guaranteed passage to the 3rd roundCheshunto wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 7:50 pmHope we get through and draw Wealdstone in the 2nd roundcockhat wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 7:31 pmFrom memory you were his biggest critic. The Reverend wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 7:24 pm The obsession with a naff non-league level goalie on this board really is baffling

Yep absolutely bizarre - at least I recall him saving something, in comparison with our current incumbents.Cheshunto wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 7:50 pmHope we get through and draw Wealdstone in the 2nd roundcockhat wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 7:31 pmFrom memory you were his biggest critic. The Reverend wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 7:24 pm The obsession with a naff non-league level goalie on this board really is baffling

If people felt he was not good enough then history tends to support that theory. But that view is neither hate nor dislike.Cheshunto wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 7:50 pmHope we get through and draw Wealdstone in the 2nd roundcockhat wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 7:31 pmFrom memory you were his biggest critic. The Reverend wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 7:24 pm The obsession with a naff non-league level goalie on this board really is baffling

I don't understand it either . Since Vig's left none of our keepers have been great . TBH, Hemmings looks no better and at the moment it's too early for me to judge Keeley .Cheshunto wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 7:50 pmHope we get through and draw Wealdstone in the 2nd roundcockhat wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 7:31 pmFrom memory you were his biggest critic. The Reverend wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 7:24 pm The obsession with a naff non-league level goalie on this board really is baffling

People seem to have a hard time understanding that pointing out a keeper is rubbish doesn’t mean that you also actively hate him.Dohnut wrote: ↑Sat Nov 02, 2024 9:28 pmIf people felt he was not good enough then history tends to support that theory. But that view is neither hate nor dislike.

Re: All you Howes haters
Stumbled across this today.
0:04 - complete flap that nearly results in a goal
0:18 - celebrates a missed penalty that he was absolutely nowhere near saving
0:30 - defender clears off the line as he has no idea where the ball is
0:42 parries a shot which is straight at him directly into danger. Makes a decent reaction save to make up for a situation he caused.
