No, he had last year's squad on the verge of the playoffs before having his options weakened in January

Re: Is the job too big fo Wellens?
Wellens isn’t the problem. The dog sh*t players signed in the summer are.
Lemming, not so Sonny Perkins, Donkey, Ballbag, Dingaling Jaiyesimi, Warrington all should be sent back or released. A crock of useless freebies that nobody wanted or kids who are light years away from the first team at their parent clubs.
Sean Clare was alright but already a sick note. Curry and Kelman the only two who should be anywhere near a league 1 squad.
The other goalie seems alright but the fact we’ve signed two loanee GKs is mental in the first place.
Whilst we’re at it, Pratley should be doing coaching badges and seeing off the last 5 mins of games instead of bloody starting them at 86 years old, Graham is finished and was overrated in the first place, Brown can’t pass forwards or tackle, Agyei doesn’t seem to be able to take it past a single player anymore, Ollie O’Neil has all the physical presence of an empty quavers packet, and Sweeney should be playing loan football at whichever division is the one below the one that Borehamwood play in.

Long slender wreck, you seem to really have it in for Ritchie, has he upset you or something?
No matter what anyone says on here you always bring it back to that it's Ritchies fault.
So go on bright spark, let's say they sack him, who would you replace him with?
With your expertise...NOT you would say Tan Hag.

I think he's been sacked at 3 clubs. It doesn't seem he can handle this higher division. The performances are dire and yet his followers are hanging in there with all the excuses, come what may.Lifelongfan wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2024 5:50 pm There is areason he came to Orient. He’s a good manager . It’s so crap to diss him just because we’re having a poor run. You’ve seen the standard of football he can get from the players , stop being so fickle ! Careful what you wish for ! Give the man a break

Richie isn't the problem, it's our poor quality players .Norlington Road wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2024 8:23 pm He’s a good manager . It’s so crap to diss him just because we’re having a poor run. Re: Is the job too big fo Wellens?
Hand him better quality players in the next transfer window and see how he gets on . I think he said he tried to sign a player called Powell and that Sheffield Wednesday midfielder who went to Wycombe ( can't remember his name at the moment ). He couldn't sign them because we were outbid . If we had those two players I wonder how much better we would currently be .Chief crazy horse wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2024 8:06 pmI think he's been sacked at 3 clubs. Norlington....Having a poor run? That's a joke. I'm not necessarily pressing for him to go because of what you say about who would fill his boots. However, the man has been given plenty of breaks. As if we haven't gone through enough miserable performances, today we couldn’t even put away the likes of Boreham Wood after going 2 goals up. What a sorry state our team is in at present !

The same Boreham Wood who 2 seasons ago lost 2-0 to Everton that denied them a place in the Quarter Finals of the F.A CUP.Chief crazy horse wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2024 8:57 pm Norlington....Having a poor run? Some people really need to wind their necks in believing Leyton Orient have a right to anything.
We earned the win by winning a penalty shoot out & are in the next round .
