I don’t think he is an average league one forward yet, nor is he ever likely to be. I would not want him starting games regularly for us. No way will Ruel ever bea championship player.

Kelman definitely isn't Championship standard

But he's not a regular starter, and even if we'd had the money to compete with Rovers for his signing it would have been better spent elsewhere (eg Shaq Forde)
Good summing up.
(Ps..and i prefer Ruel to Kelman, for the record)

The Sotiriou / Kelman debate is the wrong answer to the wrong question, the thing that's done for us is who was meant to be replacing Drinan and Pigott?

A loan keeper and a kid from Everton, obviously

Quite, really puts in context just how bad the summer window was

Quantity over Quality sums it up really, the January window is going to be very important.
Unlikely that Kelman and / Or Agyei will escape injury between now and then……….We then have the possibility that Perkins could be starting games up front as we have nobody else……..shocking really.

Does anyone really believe we’ll put all the mistakes behind us and spend money in January?

The money isn’t there. Nigel wants out and he’s not about to throw good money at the club.

Nope and if anything I see us getting weaker if an offer comes in for Galbraith.
