I have just checked.
Won 11
Drew 4
Lost 5.
Either way, those statistics are damning.

Re: Since March 1st
What, when we couldn’t buy a win at the start of the 23/24 season?
The last 2 transfer windows have cost us big time.

Re: Since March 1st
Spot on, there was the poor start to the season where fitness and adjustment to League 1 was a problem, plus lack of striker options due to Agyei injury (nothing changes hey) then that winning run which put us right up near the playoffs.Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2024 9:09 pmWhat, when we couldn’t buy a win at the start of the 23/24 season?

Since the Edwards / Adu-Adjei silliness all that momentum has been lost and now we're finding it hard going without am adequate El Miz replacement to keep the midfield ticking, plus the obvious striker shortages up top

Re: Since March 1st
And the keeper issue this season.
Whether Kelley resolves that in time, I’m not sure. But I’m confident Dom Ball, alongside an improved Brown and Galbraith (Galbraith especially) will sort the midfield.
Still leaves us short up top, though.

Re: Since March 1st
Shocking stats, less than a point a match and relegation form over half a season.
wtf has happened with RW?
We’ve got a bunch of decent young players in O’Neill, Galbraith, Brown, Kelman plus some experience from the lines of Ball, Pratts, Beckles, Simpson, Happe. Agyei was great, when he played, last season. Ok, recruitment in two windows has been very poor, but even so, surely RW can get them playing better than what we’ve shown to date?
I think RW has time, but he needs to get his act together.
The constant undermining of the board has to stop, stop the excuses and deliver.

Re: Since March 1st
After the poor January recruitment the loan players pretty much gave up as did those out of contract as there was nothing to be gained from end of the season.PKM wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2024 10:23 am Shocking stats, less than a point a match and relegation form over half a season.

This season the recruitment has been shocking in key areas, you can't afford a GK chucking the first four games away. Also have a number of first time youth loanees who aren't ready so there's precious little competition for places. League position reflects the quality and depth of the squad imo.

Re: Since March 1st
Yup, after a really good run in Jan, when we seemed to hit our stride, RW wanted to push on for the playoffs. Support for that was not forthcoming - lip service only from NT, whose true intentions were revealed by ML at the end of the month when he declared "we're not going down and we're not going up" after we signed the two loan strikers.gshaw wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2024 12:35 pmAfter the poor January recruitment the loan players pretty much gave up as did those out of contract as there was nothing to be gained from end of the season.PKM wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2024 10:23 am Shocking stats, less than a point a match and relegation form over half a season.

Support was not "forthcoming" as we were £16million in hock to our "investors". There was no money.OyinbO wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2024 1:26 pmYup, after a really good run in Jan, when we seemed to hit our stride, RW wanted to push on for the playoffs. They've reached the turning point of not throwing good money after bad and the club has more debt than ever before.

Re: Since March 1st
It’s unfair to say anyone gave up. Can you imagine giving your all, twice a week, for weeks on end, desperately hoping for some additions to our threadbare, over-used squad, then seeing Edwards and Adjei2 rock up to training???gshaw wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2024 12:35 pmAfter the poor January recruitment the loan players pretty much gave up as did those out of contract as there was nothing to be gained from end of the season.PKM wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2024 10:23 am Shocking stats, less than a point a match and relegation form over half a season.

Quite right, we have got a bunch of decent players, not great but decent players, and not half as bad as some on here are blaming for our troubles.PKM wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2024 10:23 am Shocking stats, less than a point a match and relegation form over half a season.

I think our issue, as everyone knows , is goalscoring, but also a lack of creativity in midfield for the strikers that we do have.Chief crazy horse wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2024 5:03 pmQuite right, we have got a bunch of decent players, not great but decent players, and not half as bad as some on here are blaming for our troubles.PKM wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2024 10:23 am Shocking stats, less than a point a match and relegation form over half a season.

Luckily we won’t play Wycombe every week, but we really need results against teams around us.
I watched Blackpool v Wigan last night……..great advert for L1 and both teams looked very decent.

Yes, I know and Blackpool aren’t much higher but both teams looked good in attack, showing fantastic effort.OyinbO wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2024 6:28 pmWigan are one position and three points ahead of us.Cheshunto wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2024 6:22 pmI think our issue, as everyone knows , is goalscoring, but also a lack of creativity in midfield for the strikers that we do have.Chief crazy horse wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2024 5:03 pm

After watching us at Wycombe it doesn’t fill me with confidence.
