The process to obtain Investment
According to the NT video we started the process oureslves but now are using a broker. I believe we have been trying for a year so now outsourced no doubt for a big fee. It seems hard act to get anyone to invest?

So let's hear your suggestions & the plusses for any new Investor, that isn't going to empty their Bank accounts to the tune of £4 million a season?

Over a year to late, should have used a broker as soon as promotion to League 1 was a certainty , now we are in the doo doo for failing to do it at the optimal time.Lifelongfan wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2024 8:25 pm According to the NT video we started the process oureslves but now are using a broker. Re: The process to obtain Investment
This all looks like the start of another 'slippery slope' financially for LOFC.
We know about Hearn's 'generous investments' ... which resulted in him becoming the owner of the ground for which LOFC previously had a very long lease from the council on a peppercorn rent. What can possibly be offered for the next potential asset stripper and why are the current owners looking for that? Hadn't they assured us of managing the club within it's means?

"Invest" gives a very definitive indication that there would be a return, on that "investment"Lifelongfan wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2024 8:25 pm According to the NT video we started the process oureslves but now are using a broker. The "return" isn't going too well for Messrs Travis and Teague, so I guess any savvy investor wanting a return will not look at Orient.
Not trying to sound pedantic, by the way, but what we need is someone with deep deep pockets able to (potentially) lose millions without blinking, on the pretext they may :
a) get something back but don't expect to
or
b) accept there is no return and do it purely for ego.
There may be someone out there like that, but they don't grow on trees of course.. Many are shouting for an "investor", when what they really mean is a sugar-daddy.
