I'm hoping Nigel has a meeting set up soon, investment needs to be sorted by Christmas so we can spend a few quid in January. Pick up the phone & Contact List Nigel.
Having a Billionaire owner has worked wonders for Wycombe Wanderers
The plus side is that Wickham own their ground whereas we own nothing. Why would a Billionaire want to invest in nothing other than a name?
As stated previously.
When the Canadian & Yank bought Wrexham, they didn't own the Cae Ras they bought it in 2022 after they bought the club. Please stop asking silly questions that have been answered before with examples of other clubs being bought without owning the ground they play at.

The other thing Mr Travis will need to drop is the idea he can sell a large chunk of the club and still remain in charge. If you want the extra finance then be prepared to let go of the controls.
There's no doubt he did a fine job of executing the 6 year plan but it all looks a bit confused having got to the promised land of League 1. Fresh cash and fresh ideas required to move things along now.
If he sells a majority he can be retained as CEO, he has plenty of experience in that role as Head of a Global Corporatation. This is for Nigel to sell his shares to a Global media concern & not an Individual. That's a different case completely

I think he means Disney, Netflix and companies like that. It’s easy don’t you know
I haven't said its easy. I have said we have a history that would interest a programmer to run as a spin off to accompany an O's styled Welcome to Wrexham.
The club needs more money but the desire to sell up to the first person wanting to throw money around is fuxking mental. Clewrly don’t remember 10 years ago

That is an important point which must be remembered. We simply can't go through all that grief again like we did with the previous owners .
Already covered 2 games back, I do wish people would read properly before making foolish comments

If you're complaining that our owners couldn't wish up much wealthier investors at the drop of a hat, you have the entitlement of a child and the memory of a goldfish. The last time we had a magical mega rich owner come with zero due diligence, it nearly killed the club. Current lot aren't gonna risk chucking away 6 years of hard work and money by selling up to a cowboy just because some fans think we should be able to lose £6m a season instead of £3m.
There's plenty of legitimate criticism to be made of our recruitment, which we've clearly fluffed in some key positions, and the management, which isn't getting it right at the moment.
We all know that already, That's why selling to a global corporation in the entertainment business is being suggested here. Cuts out dodgy Italians & as a global corporate its finances will be open to scrutiny thus compliance with due diligence.
What global corporations in the entertainment business are buying football clubs?
These mythical global corporations and dosgy Italians are subject to the same rules that allow someone to invest substantially in Orient who can’t prove to another FA where his money to buy another club was coming from.
Suggesting Netflix or Amazon would buy Orient because another show about two globally-followed Hollywood superstars buying a team was a big hit, is possibly one of the most bonkers things I've read on here.

It’s still less mad than suggesting that we start Beckles up front.

They aren't right now, but they will once the Americans get fully involved in the world game & the Billions to be earned by television rights.
Do you see how much they pay NFL & Baseball & Basketball players these days in the States.
Global Corporations declare their financial every year as do all law abiding small companies. Its how the tax system works. By making financial reports & tax being paid against it.

I agree, but bonkers thinking got Wrexham into League 1 after 2 Actors who've made millions from TV & Film got involved. Just cut out the middleman Ron & dead fool & we are away
Or does Wycombe the gas Birmingham stockport owners have any Billionaire mates looking for a club?
I would thought that being in London would make us more attractive but then who is gonna invest in LOFC when Hearn owns the ground and we have few assets .

God forbid we go down the celebrity route. I’m not sure I could cope with the outbreak of fame-worship. It was bad enough with Kent Teague.
£750k per episode earned by Wrexscam for Welcome to
That's 1 episode of a GK A Midfielder & A Goalscorer..
2 episodes would have bought Alfie May & paid his wages for 2 years. This isn't about Fame Worship

Wrexham didn't own the Cae Ras when Rob & deadfool took over. Disney money helped with that as well

Suppose we could put Mickey Mouse up front if Disney bought us
More potent than Kelman

If Wrexham are earning £750k an episode, makes you wonder how much Disney are making per episode.
$2-3 million dollars?
Not bad buisness
