We went out and brought some kid from Everton, rejects from Leeds, Wigan and Charlton and a bunch of f*cking kid loanees
This is what it comes down to. Awful summer recruitment following on from awful January recruitment, see the pattern?

We end up with a (not yet match fit) CM playing at RB, as we have no cover for our suspended RB because the one we signed in summer got injured playing CDM, because we didn't sign a competent player in the most key position. Shambles.

Our average pts. pr game is 0,8. It should give us 39 points after 46 games. Not even close to survive in this league.

Can't keep blaming recruitment, it's the style of play too, pass, pass, never score, today Wellens has been totally out coached

It's idealistically pig headed football

Hopefully the only positive of this is that Richie changes tact with his constant “we should have won, they’ve had one shot, etc…” to the reality that we lose because we aren’t good enough and we become a bit more practical with a visible game plan

We really are sh*t. How did this guy make a living from football??? I really do wonder how sh*t you have to be to not make it into the professional game.

Would be nice to have a big lump to play physical route one but... we didn't sign any strikers

Richie hates them players, the front three for Wycombe are perfect but the type of player Wellens doesn't like, big size, athletic, probably not the greatest technical footballers but very effective

Such a shame, we just have no attacking threat. We know it, and Wycombe know it.

At half time we had had 3 shots with 1 on target, after 80 minutes we have had 3 shots with 1 on target.

O’Neill has just had our 2nd shot on target, but really, we’re just going through the motions

That underlines what went wrong during the Summer . I don't blame Richie for this debarcle because it's completely down to the board . They refused to compete for players during the Summer and went cheap and now look at the consequences.

And we the supporters knew it during the Summer . Hence my surprise we didn't sign in a half decent striker . Kelman and Agyei was never going to be anywhere near enough . We got exactly what the club deserved today .

Warrington, Donley, Perkins, with that kind of recruitment what chance has Richie got?

Kone was on our doorstep but he ends up at Wycombe, sums it up.

I'm wondering if another manager could do any better with the squad at their disposal. Hope we don't reach the point where we have to find that out.

The club's board has to look at itself as well for not backing Richie properly in the transfer market during the Summer.

I've lost all faith in this team . I really think Borehamwood are going to knock us out next week . If a team has no heart, fight and desire it's there for the taking .

All over! Very poor result. Played poorly, no real chances, no threat - almost afraid to have a go and scared of what RW will say if they make a mistake.
Richie needs to think about the way he'd managing the side. No confidence, players like Galbraith and Graham in 2nd gear, O'neil a shadow of last year's player. Something's gotta start soon.
