Re: Exiles thread - Brentford (A)
They are honestly playing more of a first team than us. first half we set up really well, just been undone by the fact that they are a premiership team with premiership players who can do something quality out of nowhere. No shame in that. They have several starters tonight who were bought for 3-4x out annual budget.

Re: Exiles thread - Brentford (A)
Jaiyesimi really makes some questionable decisions on the football pitch and none of them are in relation to picking the right pass/shot

Fans of all his previous clubs said he was useless. Strange signing as you say.

Is Simpson on a yellow? How did he not get a second?
Kelman should squared it.

Shouldn’t have made subs. We can only get players injured. This game is over unfortunately

It could have been worse and it could have been better. I enjoyed the first 30. minutes.
Stockport on Saturday will be a tougher test than this.
COME ON ORIENT!!!

Re: Exiles thread - Brentford (A)
RW should have played a much stronger side - we might have a chance of winning it
Not sure why he didn't - we were playing a good Prem side?
The players who featured all worked hard, we looked like a good L1 side at times - but the red card finished the contest.

I thought we did ok against very good opposition. Some good performances in there. Ball, Warrington look good to me. Keeper not at fault for goals and did ok. The peripheral players probably haven’t done enough to stake a claim. Bring on Saturday.

I’m ok with the result but don’t understand the starting line up.
I hope we made some money from our 3 matches

Re: Exiles thread - Brentford (A)
Seemed pointless winning two games, one very good one at Millwall to put out such a limp side

I understand the need to rotate the squad but there's a bit of a 'what if?' feeling about tonight, once Kelman and Galbraith came on we were all over them. They might have been there for the taking.

I agree. Our starting eleven from Saturday would have certainly pushed them.Proposition Joe wrote: ↑Tue Sep 17, 2024 10:01 pm I understand the need to rotate the squad but there's a bit of a 'what if?' feeling about tonight, once Kelman and Galbraith came on we were all over them.
