Re: The trans debate
Just to say though - this is what I’ve meant when I’ve said that trans activism seeks to erase the concept of sex in law.
When the judge says that people can change sex, what he means is that in Australia legally a male who says he has the “gender identity” of a woman can be legally recognised as female.
He’s not talking about breakthroughs in science that mean sex change operations actually change sex (such interventions aren’t necessary for changing legal sex)
The only actual criteria for one’s sex in Australia now is what someone wants it to be referred as. The legal concept is divorced from what sex means.
When RTW assumed I was talking bollocks about what trans activists want to be taught in schools (and what many schools actually do teach because they assume that trans activism is a good thing), it’s because it sounds mad - but it’s actually what’s happening - people are trained, and children are taught, that sex isn’t about what sex they are, but about their personality.

Re: The trans debate
Sutton United Women, managed by a man in a wig who says he’s a woman, had to cancel a match yesterday after not being able to field a team after signing a male goalkeeper who says he’s a woman to replace their female goalkeeper.

Are these women…
1: evil TERFs who exclude some women just for being trans, the cruel bigots?
2: showing sporting behaviour and great integrity by recognising that putting a massive bloke in goal is an unfair advantage and robs their previous, female, goalkeeper of an opportunity to participate in sport?

Have you seen how women goalkeepers perform? Something radical had to be done to improve the standard.CEB2ElectricBoogaloo wrote: ↑Mon Sep 02, 2024 9:48 am Sutton United Women, managed by a man in a wig who says he’s a woman, had to cancel a match yesterday after not being able to field a team after signing a male goalkeeper who says he’s a woman to replace their female goalkeeper.

Think about it like the rubbish rugby nations, like Italy, being allowed to bring in foreign nationals to make them more competitive and able to challenge the established teams.

Some women goal keepers are very good. By far the best I have ever seen in action was Emma Byrne of Arsenal, 6 foot tall and was so amazing and good at everything including as a shot stopper and coming out to catch crosses etc.Max B Gold wrote: ↑Mon Sep 02, 2024 11:45 amHave you seen how women goalkeepers perform? Emma Anne Byrne (born 14 June 1979) is a former Irish footballer who played as a goalkeeper. She played for the Republic of Ireland on a record 134 occasions and served as captain of the team. She spent almost 17 years with Arsenal before joining Brighton & Hove Albion in January 2017.

Re: The trans debate
Italy's Valentina Petrillo has become the first openly transgender athlete to compete at a Paralympic Games after qualifying for the women's T12 400m semi-finals. The 51-year-old sprinter competed in the women's T12 classification on Monday, for athletes with visual impairments and finished second in her heat with a time of 58.35 seconds, 1.38 seconds behind Venezuela's Alejandra Paola Perez Lopez.
Petrillo qualified sixth fastest for the semi-finals - 2.99 seconds behind top qualifier and world record holder Omara Durand from Cuba.
The semi-finals get under way later on Monday at 19:43 BST, with the final on Tuesday at 11:14 BST.

Re: The trans debate
Oh, it’s another aspect of this debate that I was right about.
Important additional info: the CEO mentioned, Mridul, does not have a gender recognition certificate and has not undergone any surgery. Not that that would change his sex anyway - that’s impossible - but he’s an unambiguously male person, who has taken no steps to be “less male” even according to the standards of trans activists, and sought a career working with women who have been traumatised by male sexual violence.

Re: The trans debate
"It also stated that centre's chief executive officer – a trans woman – failed to behave professionally and did not understand the limits of her* authority."
*His authority.
But that's the point. The whole modus operandi of these narcissists is to push the boundaries of society's limits to test for weakness, often co-opting left-coded signals, so that they can normalise their conduct and satisfy their own desires. It's manipulative behaviour.

Re: The trans debate
Is 'J K Rowling' the female author who sometimes writes using the name 'Robert Galbraith'? Which is a mans name.

Re: The trans debate
I occasionally wonder if Rowlings deep seated anger and hate of transwomen is because she wants to be a man. This Robert Galbraith revelation would appear to support my theorum.
