Re: Hearts v O's walk
One of those moments those who did the walk will always remember, the hearts fans gave us a fantastic reception and the numbers far exceeded what I thought we might get. Well done to Steve Jenkins for everything he has done to help the clubs arrange the day.
Talk that Linfield who also lost men at the Somme May also play Hearts and Orient in coming seasons.
Thanks for the pictures and video chaps

Hearts is one thing, but not sure we want to go down the route of having Ulster Loyalists parading down Leyton High RoadTop of the JES wrote: ↑Sun Jul 14, 2024 2:10 pm One of those moments those who did the walk will always remember, the hearts fans gave us a fantastic reception and the numbers far exceeded what I thought we might get. Didn't do the walk but WOW were there a lot!
Couldn't hold back my tears during the pre kick off ceremony...such a special day for two superb football clubs.

Re: Hearts v O's walk
I have to say that I'm really glad I made the trip. The love shown to us by the Hearts fans will not be forgotten. Whether it happens, many have now adopted the O's as their English side and want to come down. Some say this should be a regular event.
I find it hard to describe the warmth that greeted all O's fans. If any jam tarts view this forum, you did us proud and I hope we played our part in return.
