Re: Midfield suggestions
By coincidence there is a converted midfielder called Sam Ling who might fit in well

Keenan Appiah-Forson
Young CM from West Ham, spent season on loan with Daggers last season, would be a very good addition to our midfield.

I would hope Ling has a list of players we are looking at. If not, we are in trouble

Re: Midfield suggestions
He’s probably down to his 5th option by now, however I think we only need one box to box midfielder as I would expect RW to play Gailbraith further forward possibly in the number 10 position?Story of O wrote: ↑Mon Jul 08, 2024 10:33 am I would hope Ling has a list of players we are looking at. Would cost a fee as he is still contracted to Carlisle.

This from Wikipedia on Fuchs:
On 12 May 2024, the club [Peterborough] announced he would be released in the summer when his contract expired "after a stop-start campaign due to injuries".
83 games between the Posh and Dundee without scoring.

Re: Midfield suggestions
Good shout! Although it's strange that Pompey decided against activating a 12 month extension to his contract, despite the manager clearly wanting him to stay, and instead offered revised terms making him a free agent.
