Solihull Steward

Post by Fairbrother, Yes »

Amongst the chaotic organisation at Solihull yesterday, there was one amazing steward who did everything he could to help the O's fans. He worked hard to get a lot of the 'attitude' stewards to stop blocking our view, then brought bottles of water and then 'ice pops' to some over heated O's fans when the bar had 'ran out of water'. However, most impressive was when the moron threw the 'smoke bomb' at the O's fans he piled straight in on his own to deal with the group of idiots who were after a ruck. Nice to see a good steward for a change.

Was a nice touch, remember him from last season. Can only comment on what I saw but thought the police were fine. One was told to "F off you C**t* to his face multiple times and still didn't arrest the moron.

You do know that the Met officers go to quite a lot of away games right?

there was needle with the stewards there last season too. I know that both were high pressure games (for different reasons) and that plenty of our fans are downright cretinous, but the fact that it's happened twice now at the same venue, when we typically don't see that much bother, re-inforces my view of Solihull as one the most tinpotty of all the tinpots
