I agree, and could have worded that better. I guess I’m struggling to appreciate how so much responsibility of the cyclist’s death can be apportioned to the pedestrian. Given the circumstance s and her own disabilities, a custodial sentence does seem harsh.
Where does it say she got a custodial sentence?

I read elsewhere that she got three years.

How he got away with that defies belief. If you’re riding that fast you have even more responsibility to ensure the safety of others. I guess he could afford a good brief.
