Spurs youth asst coach here then manager here, dof at Colchester is a decent cv. Remember Hendon was the number 2 once so hammers arent the best judges.Sid Bishop wrote: ↑Wed Apr 10, 2024 2:22 pmRoss Embleton has now got a new job as West Ham Academy Head of Recruitment.essexfootball wrote: ↑Wed Apr 10, 2024 10:46 amNot there anymore, I imagine one of the key things when the Cowley's took over was they get full control of transfersHoover Attack wrote: ↑Wed Apr 10, 2024 10:45 am Come on Emblefud, do your mate Lingy a favour for once!

Yes, National League might suit him quite well………It’s painful to watch, I feel a bit sorry for him.essexfootball wrote: ↑Wed Apr 10, 2024 9:55 am Piggott always comes across as a club signing and not a Wellens one, he is totally the opposite to what Wellens wants in a strike and Richie is very much his own system, for the sake of both of them, Piggott needs to leave in the summer and get a fresh chance somewhere, got a feeling Colchester might be in the running

Wellens too.
Using all your subs well before the end when winning (I.e. not having to chase the game with wholesale substitutions ) and then having to play last 20 with10 is about as incompetent as it gets for a manager at any level.

If Richie did make a mistake last night then I'd rather he learned that lesson now rather than at the end of next season when hopefully we're right in the middle of the promotion mix .

He took a gamble to get a look at more players knowing the result was meaningless in any case. OK it backfired but now is the time you can try a few things out.

Rewind back to Oldham away after we secured League 2 safety. People whined about fielding a squad full of fringe players and getting rolled over. End result, RW was able to prove to the board who to cut their losses on and we won the league the next season.Chief crazy horse wrote: ↑Wed Apr 10, 2024 7:18 pm What pathetic excuses in defence of Wellens's cock up.
Fully expect to see a bunch of random picks against Derby too. We'll see who can cut it when they're thrown in the deep end and who needs to head off back to League 2 and beyond.

So far Simpson seems the same quality, and perhaps an upgrade, on Happe.Proposition Joe wrote: ↑Wed Apr 10, 2024 12:08 pm You think in the summer window we'd be able to improve on Happe, Hunt, Sweeney and Sotiriou?
