Re: Khayon Edwards
Richie said he was looking to bring in another striker in an interview last week, so Agyei is not a factor

Re: Khayon Edwards
Only in the lunch queue - but even then he'd probably join the wrong queue.
Is actually going to Gillingham to replace Bonne???

Re: Khayon Edwards
Absolutely no way this guy is from an actual Premier League academy, just not having it.

Re: Khayon Edwards
Both the loanee lads do look miles off the standard required. Always difficult to join a new squad and find your way but I don’t recall either of them showing glimpses of what I assume they are capable of. Seems strange they are getting game time with other options now becoming available. Assume RW is trying to keep their parent clubs happy.

A real miss by our scouts and by their parent clubs.
The experience might have set them back

Re: Khayon Edwards
Would assume that starting a 20yo loanee who's been terrible and will absolutely not be staying, while leaving Pigott on the bench all game is RW sending something of a message about his plans for next season.

Yet both have got on in front of Pigott . Although under contract I wouldn't be surprised to see Pigott leave in the Summer . It just hasn't worked out for him at Orient .DrWindy wrote: ↑Sun Apr 07, 2024 1:16 am Both the loanee lads do look miles off the standard required. Absolute rubbish loan signings, some one’s head should roll . Pigott yet another rubbish signing, hopefully he will leave at the end of the season.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 07, 2024 1:11 pmYet both have got on in front of Pigott . Who ever is making these appalling decisions must understand the club need quality proven players that have played regular first team football at this level or above and are not known sick notes.

Re: Khayon Edwards
To be fair to the club Pigott was the only signing that hasn't worked out . All the others have been good. And before somebody mentions Howes ,from what I've seen of him I think he's been OK.PoundhillO wrote: ↑Sun Apr 07, 2024 1:26 pmAbsolute rubbish loan signings, some one’s head should roll . Re: Khayon Edwards
On the whole the clubs recruitment policy has been excellent. Nothing is guaranteed in this business, but we have done very well signing the likes of Galbraith, Brown, Cooper, O’Neill and quality loan signings like El Miz, Forde etc. It’s a shame we’ve been hit by injuries to recent signings Agyei & Sanders and Graham this season, but all 3 look good players, especially Agyei.
Ok, Pigott has not worked out. I saw him at Exeter, where he scored, he looked good, maybe that was his best match! It just hasn’t worked out, sometimes that happens. The 2 loan forwards was a case of trying to make a bad job work. Difficult to know what happened, we had someone lined up and it fell through.
But, overall, I love our policy of signing exciting young players and helping to develop them. Hope we can find a few more Galbraith/Brown/O’Neills, and honourable mention for Cooper, he’s more than done a job for us.

Just need to find a L2 club to take him.
