Why would there need to be a falling out for someone who's been rubbish all season not to be on the bench?

Two young loanees keeping him out of the squad so if he’s not injured it doesn’t look good

Still seems strange not to have him on the bench.

If he doesn’t suit our style of play then I wonder why we signed him in the first place.

So explain who panicked, and tell us who these signings were that fell through.

Not a stupid question. Piggot probably wasn't top of our list, and it hasn't worked out well so far, but there's no evidence it was a panic signing. You cant get them all right, but even with Piggot included, no complaints from me regards the transfer window and our season so far.

So you expect an ordinary supporter to explain to the rest of us why someone in the club signed Pigot? You also expect an ordinary supporter to tell us about transfer targets that fell through? Really. Of course it was a stupid question.

I don't expect supporters to quote signings as panic signings with no evidence.

Isn’t that the point of the forum? Surely people are entitled to say what they think, you can’t tell me that you haven’t expressed an opinion on a player on here at some point? Doesn’t mean you’re right or wrong. Personally I agree with the original post about Pigot being a panic buy, however that’s only my opinion and not fact, only my opinion, something that at this stage appears to be correct to the onlooker from the stand. But I respect your view.

Piggot was signed 2 weeks before the start of the season. It wasn’t a panic buy in the classic sense but he probably was the last on the list and they just wanted to get it done to get someone in

He is an O's player and has chipped in with 4 goals. Has a decent career so far and I wouldn't write him off just yet...things change and players come into form.

We were not targeting Pigott at all until his circumstances at Ipswich changed, he had a meeting with the Ipswich manager in pre season and they eventually agreed it was better for him to find another club. There was a settlement of his contract which was then annulled and he joined us the day after once we got wind he was available as a free agent.

He should have been a good signing but it hasn’t worked out he was rumoured to be rejoining AFC Wimbledon in January but it never happened.

Not sure but I think those goals were pens?and not scored in open play. Weather he was a panic buy or not looking at the way and how Wellens likes his team to play I’m baffled why he decided to bring him in all honesty. IMO Lester is more suited with either a two up front or playing behind the front striker but in a less high tempo team. Wellens likes a more high press and that’s not Lester’s game as we all know.

Tbf I saw him score a decent goal from open play, equaliser against Exeter, where we won with a last minute Ruel goal.

Lets be honest, Pigott is the new Drinan............bloody useless.

Im not interested if he was any good years ago, the facts are, he's no good now, and now's what counts

He doesn't suit Richie's style of play either

Why he was brought here God alone knows, but the club need to shift him, in the summer.

When a couple of teenage kids, keep you off the bench, you know your days are numbered.

We have some absolutely brilliant players at ths club ATM.....there's no room for baggage
