Think Brynn slipped for their second which led to the flap. The players look tired. Injuries and lack of squad depth are going to take their toll over the next few weeks.

Have to give credit to Burton. Barely made it past the halfway line in the first half and looked like they came for a draw. Switched to a much more attacking mentality in the second half and it won them the game. They even continued to put on the pressure when they were a goal up rather than parking the bus.

From the second half kick off, it was clear they had changed their approach. We weren’t able to match their energy with just 10 men.

It’s not Edwards fault, it’s Richie’s for leaving him out there so long.

I was concerned before the game that tiredness would catch up with us and it did in the second half . I can't fault the effort of our players but you could see the Burton players looked stronger and fresher . At least our players now have a full week to prepare for our next game away at Oxford

Didn’t see the game but as I said before the team is running on empty. You can’t have that many players out through injury or suspension and expect to win games. Think the season will now unfortunately Peter out but all looks promising for next season. Personally at the beginning of the season I would have settled for safety in our first year back.

Absolutely . I would take Mid table League One safety all day long .

Brynn 5. Didn’t make a save, nearly caught on the ball, should’ve done better with both goals.

Galbraith 6. Tidy enough, competed.

Hunt 6. Reliable if unspectacular.

Beckles 6. Crap pass to Prats which lead to their first goal. Otherwise ok. Disappointing to see him dragged out of the danger area so easily at corners and set pieces though - he’s better than that.

Cooper 6. Surprised by how good his passing was early on.

El Miz 7. Quieter than normal but usual glimpses of brilliance.

Pratley 6. We missed Brown.

Moncur 6. Fitness is returning. Will have to confirm on highlights but looks like he should have scored from open play as well.

ONeill 6. Need to remember he’s only 3 games in to his professional career.

Forde 6. Disappeared second half.

Edwards 5. It’s not his fault but he’s not yet ready to play L1 football. Richie obviously wanted to give him minutes but had to change him out earlier.

Well yes. That’s exactly why I posted them.

I rarely post them - I prefer to leave it to the experts like bera - but seeing as no one had posted anything accurate, I thought I’d better.

We missed James passing to link defence and midfield, his distribution/passing in recent weeks, linking defence/midfield, has been very good. Beckles and Cooper were like crabs passing sideways in 2nd half.
