The 90s
Seems to be having a bit of a comeback.
I'm looking forward to Gladiators tomorrow night.
What are you looking forward to, or dreading?

Re: The 90s
Kids being able to gain meaningful employment without a university degree and £ks of debt and, after saving for just a few years, being able to buy their first home on just a 25-year mortgage.

^and, on a similar tip, if you opted for an "Italian" instead, Pizza Hut used to dim the lights at 8.00pm to help make things a bit romantic.

Re: The 90s
There was a good period on the 90s when you could buy a half decent property at a decent interest rate and it all worked out in the buyers favour as they were on the rise. Would be nice if that situation arose again.

Buying a car for £200 that, with the aid of a Haynes manual and tool kit you got for your 18th birthday, you could maintain as roadworthy all by yourself.

Which bit of 'hardcore influenced bangers like this' do you not comprehend?Proposition Joe wrote: ↑Fri Jan 12, 2024 11:49 amFond memories of 2023 there, arguably the best year of the 90s decade.
Re: The 90s
2023 was the year of the best gigs blur ever did, so in that sense it was the best year of the 90s

Re: The 90s
I think the misunderstanding here is that one of you is referring to the thread as being about stuff from the nineties that’s having a bit of a moment again, and the other is referring to the fact that pop culture is looking to the 90s for inspiration

Re: The 90s
I'm assuming that they're going to make some new shows with some new scantily clad Gladiators, not just re-run the old ones with Wolf, Hunter and Shadow?
Re: The 90s
It’s gone woke I imagine. You can’t even call the two dark skinned characters Shadow and Nightshade any more
