The treatment and management after a mental health crisis should be entirely separate from due process around someone’s conduct.
Have you made up that he’s getting a slap on the wrist?

Don’t particularly get into it after a bloke almost topped himself but not sure anyone desperately needed to read your thoughts on due process at this very second

Well done for once again jumping in with both feet without reading the context, numb nuts. I was replying directly to Daily Express Bot, who, in the post immediately before mine, advocated a slap on the wrist, leading to me outlining why downgrading a sanction due to an apparent mental health crisis is not a straightforward good idea.

Looking forward to your “oops, sorry mate, didn’t see that. I need to maybe look at why I’m so quick to assume the worst about your posts” reply.

Well done for (as far as I can tell based on your earlier deleted comment) twice posting on this thread without thinking “hmmm, have I fully understood this?”

Also, for accuracy’s sake: “almost topped himself” is in itself jumping to a conclusion about something about which you don’t know the truth, nor the details.
“Posted on social media in a manner seemingly designed to suggest he was about to take his own life” is actually what we know, and is very different. As someone who has dealt with a sister’s abusive partner weaponising suicide as a way to maintain a relationship, the difference is meaningful

Great that he’s been found.

Everyone should remember that Danny was a member of this forum so may well be reading, best to leave your thoughts to yourselves, at least for now.

You spelled “sorry CEB, I was too busy rushing to condemn you to realise you were responding to where someone actually suggested the slap on the wrist thing” wrongly.

Do love a sanctimonious “well said, let’s all just be kind” when it functions more as “I’d rather not admit to being a bit of a tit”, though

Bizarre.
Poster: I think DM should get a slapped wrist because of all this, not full consequences
Me: here’s why that’s a bad idea
Poster: that’s a good point actually, fair enough

RTW: CEB where did you get the idea of a slapped wrist from? Did you pull it out of your arse? Nobody wants to hear your view point

Me: you misunderstood, clearly. Gonna clarify?

RTW: Game day, must dash! Everyone be nice

Me: ah, you’re not.

Joe: ceb is out of order here

That's not what I said. Cheers for allowing me to ask a favour though.

This thread should probably be locked anyway, as since he’s been found there’s not much to be gained from further posts aside from turning into a general thread about mental health

This is not a time for jesting for various reasons mentioned. How about leaving things stand now he has been reunited?

Is that why you wrote 2 expansive answers after Danny was found ? No need to answer. Lets hope he gets his head right.

Don’t lock it until dunnem has made one of his mental health jibes first.

As always, making yourself look sanctimonious and self centred without anyone’s help. It’s not about you (hard to believe I know).

That’s still not “sorry i didn’t read the context”, but I’m loving the irony that the man being like “let’s be nice about mental health issues” in one post doesn’t recognise that “you needlessly jumped on me for something I said without reading the context, then refuses to say “ah, my bad, sorry” is not *really* something that goes down well with people with ADHD, as you know me to have.
I dont mind, knock yourself out by all means by refusing to say “sh*t, didn’t see the context, sorry mate”, just makes me chuckle that fools like you talk a good game when mental health/non neurotypical stuff stares you in the face (“let’s be nice about the man posting on social media threatening to kill himself”) while failing completely at actually living it…
