Re: Ratings
Sanders did ok when he came on.
Only El Miz and possibly James can take any credit.
Clueless going forward and on another day Sol would have had his pants pulled down once, or maybe twice, being caught in possession.
That was a very painful watch and O’s are devoid of any attacking nouse. Badly missed Graham and, to a lesser extent, Theo.
Reinforcements in January can’t come quick enough.

Re: Ratings
Brynn 5 , poor
James 4, not a league 1 player. Can't ever beat the first man from a corner or free kick
Stewart 4, nowhere near league 1 standard
Cooper 6, is league 1 standard, one of the few
Happe 3, awful, lucky not to get a second yellow at the end
Hunt 4, not league 1 standard
Pratley 4, looks old and slow
El Miz 7, quality, works hard, different class. We need a few more of this standard
Sotiriou 4, been ok, but not tonight. Lots worse that him
Pigott 3, terrible player. Non League standard
Drinan 2, shouldn't be near a league 1 squad. Just awful, awful player
Sanders 5, rusty, I'll give him longer to prove he's good enough
Gailbraith5, flatters to deceive.
Forde 6, if anyone was going to score, it was this lad. How Drinan starts in front of him, I just don't know

Re: Ratings
Brynn 6 some good saves but perhaps should have prevented the goal
Hunt 5 honestly didnt notice him for most of the game
Cooper 5
Happe 5
James 6 one of our main attacking threats
Sweeney 5 cant attack
Pratley 6 battled
El Miz 6 too much backwards passing
Drinan 5 just not good enough, failed to convert when through on goal
Piggot 5 had a chance or two
Sotiriou 5 quiet
Wellens 4 such a negative setup, left subs too late

Re: Ratings
Difficult to rate that. El Miz and James about the only ones to come out with any credit.
But the problem wasn't the players, it was the set up. In possession we went with a 5-2-3 and it just didn't work. I know we had a lot of players out and I know we've gone with 3/5 at the back, but we should have changed. Hunt gives you nothing going forward as a wing back, El Miz and Pratley are not creative players, so you're left with Ruel and Sweeney as our only creative players.

We didn’t score last night and played 5hit . What else is there to know. I’m now grateful I couldn’t make it last night if we’re going to play that badly.BiggsyMalone wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2023 1:14 am Another thread proving how little Orient fans know about football.

Re: Ratings
I thought El Mizouni was poor which may indicate what I thought of the rest of them. If he made a forward, defence splitting pass reaching a colleague then I missed it. To make such a pass forward players need to make defence splitting runs. To quote Tony Hancock in Sunday Afternoon At Home " at least my mother's gravy used to move about a bit"

Re: Ratings
I agree on lack of movement. The game wasn’t lost in midfield though. Pratley and El Miz were ok. We just had nothing else. Front three didn’t work. It didn’t work last game either. Personally I think we need to rethink our formation with the players we have available.WilliamTell wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2023 9:55 am I thought El Mizouni was poor which may indicate what I thought of the rest of them. Re: Ratings
We did play sh*t, especially in the first half,I’m not disputing that. Just the individual criticisms of the players. Its like no one actually watched the game or judged a player on one momentRedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2023 8:06 amWe didn’t score last night and played 5hit . What else is there to know. Re: Ratings
El Miz was ok, as was Pratley just about, I guess. But the midfield did not work, we did not play through them because we only had 2 players in there.DrWindy wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2023 10:25 amI agree on lack of movement.
