All these different numbered cards the coaching staff used to hold up to signify different set piece corners and all for nought . Just bang the ball into the box and hope one of our players can get a head on it

But we have Daryl McMahon now as our set piece coach, surely things will improve
They haven't so far and he's ben in post for a couple of months. Very disappointing IMO.
Well we've scored one goal off a corner since he's arrived, which is an improvement from the zero before. Then again, it only came because the goalkeeper flubbed the cross.
What would be just as interesting to see would be how many times the opposition score following an Orient corner. Ball gets cleared, breakaway ensues, we get caught short at the back by lively, pacey opposition forwards and the ball ends up in the net. Any stats available for how often that has happened? I bet it's more than once!
Shouldn't we also consider how we defend set plays as well? From my unscientific perspective, it looks as though we have improved, except in the games Sam Howes has played
I can remember two goals we've conceded from our corners and both weirdly against Northampton away.
One last season when Theo took a corner down our away end they went up and scored and again this season, can't remember who took the actual corner but Gailbraith lost possession after the initial corner and Hoskins scored their equaliser.
