Strange thing was aside from cooper and maybe Graham, no one was particularly good today, yet we were better set up and were the better team. We are growing into this division and without tempting fare, should be good to finish comfortable mid table.

Wellens deserves credit for the tactical shift. We look defensively a lot more solid. Biggest concern for me is the lack of goals from midfield as now we're playing wing backs, we aren't going to get as many from our wide players. Galbraith and Mizouni are not goal scoring midfielders.

Should have been on twenty mins before he was brought on.

I would have taken a draw before the game so I'm pleased with the result . To be honest I'm even more pleased with our performance today . I thought all our players played well today and put in a good shift . I regard Barnsley has the best team in League 1 so to go toe to toe with them and get a draw is very pleasing . Couldn't do anything about their goal because those type of goals are unstoppable . My only criticism is I feel we're still missing more of a cutting edge going forward . Maybe we already have that player in Dan Agyei but we won't know for sure until about January time .

Drinan made 2 excellent runs through the middle but the ball was passed sideways instead of his direction 🤔

Why did Richie take off Pigott?
He was doing ok today, and to replace him with Drinan was even more mystifying.
When Drinan comes on every week, it weakens the team .
Performance was good today overall, but we're lacking up front.
Still a good point, and they are easy on the eye nowdays

Apart from his aimless left, foot cross that went out for a throw in Drinnan was a cut above Piggott but the morons on here are so consumed with criticising him they miss his control and contribution to the team what the man needs is a start and not 15 minutes at the end of the game

I thought Barnsley were bang average & our lack of confidence denied us 2 points today. We are a League 1 club by right & We need to belive we can beat everyone.

Because he was becoming less effective. Fresh legs were needed

We were very good today.
Cooper had a very commanding game.

Shame Pigott had to go off, but I get it., but for me I would sooner have Pigotts tired legs over Drinans fresh legs every day of the week.

Drinan should be nowhere near L1, sorry just my opinion.
But until we get to Jan, and get Dan Agyei back fit and possibly new players in, we have to use Drinan.

Pigott’s 2nd touch was a tackle

What about when the ball came out to him on the edge of our box and he watched it until a Barnsley player walked in front of him and took the ball in a dangerous position?

Waiting for the ball to reach you is the most common mistake players make.

Personally I'm worried we are just not going to score enough goals to warrant all the good play going on behind the front line.

Can’t see it changing this season and it was a problem last season too. Think we will have to wait until the summer for that to change 🙊

One of their subs kicked the ball into touch every time he tried to pass and one got sent off within 10 mins. Saying that, both were better than Drinan
Not that you’re biased eh
Odd comment, as per
Not really you should listen to RW who thinks Drinan does a good job for the team whenever he plays, how come your comments about him differ so much to his ? I could understand it if you criticise Drinan on a particular performance but your criticism of him is relentless, give it a rest and wind your neck in.
