I hope the person pulls through. I have empathy with his situation but unless the game being in play hinders attempts to help him, then why stop the game?

EFL Directive now is to carry on regardless, glad some fans got on the pitch.

Its not nice seeing someone getting cpr, especially at a footy match.

Of course it isn't. I never said otherwise. I can see that the resus is happening by the pitch so of course the game has to stop.

Doesn't feel right to be getting all excited about football if someone's fighting for their life in the stands. Pretty disgraceful guidance from the EFL but nothing that shambles of an organization does surprises me tbh.

My assumption is that medics from both teams would attend and try to help. Say someone gets a really bad injury, like a broken leg, whilst they are carrying on and the medics aren’t available?

Wellens standing in front of the Justin Edinburgh stand of all places trying to get a game to continue whilst an Orient fan is receiving CPR in the East stand and supporters are pleading with officials to stop the match is a seriously bad look.
