Anybody Else
I've got effing Covids again. Anyone else infected?
Scientists are saying there's a new strain on the loose that gives you runny nose, coughin, sneezin, banging head, sore throat, fatigue. I've got the full house.
Was due to be in London later in the week and in Reading at the Reading v Bolton game on Saturday. It's all up in the air for now.

Re: Anybody Else
Friends of ours have got the whole household down with it, mainly reporting being absolutely knackered. Definitely seems to be an 'I Can't Believe It's Not 2021' comeback, will try and get the booster as soon as the Govt pulls their finger out and starts it up within the next couple of weeks. Hope your symptoms clear up quickly.

Don't know why but I've never had it either, just can't seem to catch it, I do all the things had all the jabs however it just doesn't happen, when passengers get in and start spluttering I just wind windows down and drive on and them getting blown out of cab but still can't catch it, am I a freak?

Somewhat ironically, the time the PJ household all got the rona was within days of landing in lockdown happy Fortress Australia once they'd started letting people in again. Wasn't fun.

Re: Anybody Else
I have had my doctors surgery asking me if I wish to have the flu and covid jabs together on the same day, i have decided to have them separately.Proposition Joe wrote: ↑Mon Sep 11, 2023 10:33 am Friends of ours have got the whole household down with it, mainly reporting being absolutely knackered. Of course there are many people who refuse to have a covid vaccine and also some people who decide not to have it after suffering bad side effects from previous covid jabs. Luckily for me I have had no side effects so far but i know people who have.

Be thankful you have not caught it, as we all know, in some cases it can be a really deadly disease.Type high wrote: ↑Mon Sep 11, 2023 10:39 am Don't know why but I've never had it either, just can't seem to catch it, I do all the things had all the jabs however it just doesn't happen, when passengers get in and start spluttering I just wind windows down and drive on and them getting blown out of cab but still can't catch it, am I a freak?

Re: Anybody Else
My friend was hospitalised with it it last week ( twice ). She has Gitelman's Syndrome which don't help. But she was on a nebuliser & I think they discharged her too early. She reported that docs don't wear masks, but kept their dealings with her to the door of her room. She is fine now, but all her boyfriends family had it quite bad.

Re: Anybody Else
Good choice Sid - I chose to have mine separately last year after being offered both at the same time, my neighbour was really ill the week after having both jabs on the same day. Unfortunately my wife is one of those to have had a very bad reaction to her one and only covid jab. headaches and pins and needles for three years now without any respite. she's seen every type of specialist there is and they say there is nothing wrong, but there is.Sid Bishop wrote: ↑Mon Sep 11, 2023 10:41 amI have had my doctors surgery asking me if I wish to have the flu and covid jabs together on the same day, i have decided to have them separately.Proposition Joe wrote: ↑Mon Sep 11, 2023 10:33 am Friends of ours have got the whole household down with it, mainly reporting being absolutely knackered. Oxford AstraZeneca Vaccine. Her neighbour who was a very fit man at the time, in his 60s had the same vaccine and reacted very badly to it and still not right. Problem is yes it reacted in some people and perhaps saved other peoples lives, we shall never know the figures either way

Re: Anybody Else
Had it three times last in March/April each time bought to us by our daughter courtesy of school.
First time took me out for a week and had a burning sensation in the chest.the other two times was like having a cold. Once a mild one and the last time i spent a couple of days in bed.
