RW interview before. Charlton game
Stated today that Adgve is out for 5 months with broken bone. Drinan out for 8-10 weeks . Ruel injured Graham not fit to start. Hoping to get a striker in within 4-5 days. Another bad pre season for Drinan.I reckon we now need 2 strikers . Bang goes our £300 k for the January window

Use it now, no good if we are at the bottom come December (hopefully not)plus some of those players will be backthat will be the same as a new signing anyway

Reckon he might be being coy about Ruel and he'll play but if not could be a chance for Obeiro. Otherwise who else will play with Theo and Piggot? Sweeny maybe?

Moncur out wide then brown Mizouni Galbraith in midfield probably.
If Drinan is in the exact same situation as last season where he's playing catch up all year then I'm more or less giving up on the guy, think he's done with us. Hope this loanee is up to it and not your normal prem under 21 kid who's never gonna make it.

Not a bad shout about Moncur or even Ruel if fit assuming we play 433 ? or brown at right back and James up frontMistadobalina wrote: ↑Fri Aug 04, 2023 5:26 pm Moncur out wide then brown Mizouni Galbraith in midfield probably.

Pegrum maybe as the other winger?
We are so weak on numbers, really worried about tomorrow as Charlton are the opposite, they have had a good pre season and are scoring goals for fun!
Good job we have an easy run of games at start of season

Ling in the podcast said that Sitiriou would be fit. Maybe he was wrong?Rich Tea Wellin wrote: ↑Fri Aug 04, 2023 5:08 pm Reckon he might be being coy about Ruel and he'll play but if not could be a chance for Obeiro. Otherwise who else will play with Theo and Piggot? Sweeny maybe?

It’s ridiculous to be going into the first game of the season with so many injuries.

I totally agree. Our forward line is looking really weak at the moment so something needs to be done about it.

Losing one of your key signings for five months is not a good start. Can’t believe Drinan will be three months on top. Gee, what were they playing on at Colchester , mountain terrain?
Charlton have no injuries at all. Fully fit squad .
We need to add two players up top before end of August to replace these long term injuries. We have one fit striker and even he isn’t match fit ! He had no pre season . No striker on the bench . We don’t seem to be bringing any strikers through our ranks anymore . Why ?

Re: RW interview before. Charlton game
Charlton DO have a couple of injuries , to forward players. It is untrue to say they have a fully fit squadLuna Tic wrote: ↑Sat Aug 05, 2023 9:20 am Losing one of your key signings for five months is not a good start. Re: RW interview before. Charlton game
With so few striker option’s today I think we should pack our midfield which is strong . Try and stifle Charlton’s attack . The problem is if they score we’ll have an uphill battle with only one striker.

Re: RW interview before. Charlton game
Even when Dan is back they will have to ease him in, he didn't have a full pre-season. Its a disaster, he was our replacement for Smyth. And I'll be staggered if the club don't try to bring someone else in similar. Be nice if it was done it time for the first game of the season
