Re: Brown
Very pleased with this. Come on leaps and bounds. Can’t have been easy for him thrown into the deep end when he signed 18 months ago and chucked into a side on an alarming decline.
He must get real credit for getting his head down and coming on the way he has.
He’s also such an asset to have in your squad. Talented utility players are more of a rarity these days and he gives a 7/8 wherever he’s asked to play. However I thought in the last month or so of the season, he looked outstanding in the centre of the park. Still only 21 and more improvement to come you’d think. Seems like a really decent lad too having met him once or twice

Re: Brown
40 games from JB next season means we'll have had injuries to first team regulars and therefore unlikely to have a successful season.Hedmans Header wrote: ↑Tue May 16, 2023 9:24 am Just what we need to hear ..
Been excellent since arriving
40 plus games from JB next
season and we’ll be a good
League one side ..
A great squad player at present, hugely versatile, and young enough to keep on developing, but come on.

Re: Brown
Will be interesting to see. Depends on el miz but could see him taking prats starts at a minimum and aside from el miz or replacements I can’t see us adding too much to CM. Agree Brown isn’t quite up to being a league one starter yet but wouldn’t put it past him to improve throughout the season to the point where he has nailed down a starting place every week by mid seasonTRUMP Plumbing wrote: ↑Tue May 16, 2023 10:15 am40 games from JB next season means we'll have had injuries to first team regulars and therefore unlikely to have a successful season.Hedmans Header wrote: ↑Tue May 16, 2023 9:24 am Just what we need to hear ..

Re: Brown
Good interview that, speaks well for 21 and seems keen to learn.
A great squad player and his impact and distribution picked up as the season went on.
Solid signing and I'm sure will continue to develop

Would love to see it and yes, it's definitely a possibility, especially under Wellens' tutelage.OTF Photography Ltd wrote: ↑Tue May 16, 2023 10:45 am Agree Brown isn’t quite up to being a league one starter yet but wouldn’t put it past him to improve throughout the season to the point where he has nailed down a starting place every week by mid season

Brown is definitely good enough/ able enough
to start the season in the first 11 and providing
he performs to the standard he’s set so far
he’ll be a first team regular..
What’s the point of having a 21 year old with
his energy and professionalism keeping the
bench warm.. come on

Re: Brown
Would like to see him in a more holding midfield position next season and not switched here there and everywhere. Yes he can fill in at right back but personally see him as Pratleys replacement
