Time to let this go. He is banned from the show & sponsorship ended. Has received a jail sentence which I hope he learns from & uses the time there properly. I was at that match. Orient family fans were being attacked. Some Orient fans (OTF) went to help them. I personally ran away. I don't condone violence but similar to the Blackpool Burnley incident all those fans involved were up for it. A lot of the Telford lot were Wolves fans. Knowing it was a big match they turned out for a ruck. I hope the fan concerned has made a full recovery (i believe he has)

I noticed that the advert was not played on the last show & removed from the page on Phoenix. Read somewhere he was now banned . Maybe the Orient hour can clarify

I did and l'm very unimportant. Their position was invidious and not of their own making. They dealt with it quite correctly. There will be no further details published, which is probably wise in order to put an earlier end to posts like this one.

OK, whilst I am bemused as to why those hiding behind the cloak of anonymity are demanding transparity from those who don't, I have been in touch with the boss of Phoenixfm.
He would like to point out the following:-
Lee Boyce was never the host of Orient Hour, he was a guest panelist.
When this situation came to light last year the radio station acted in tandem with Leyton Orient in suspending Lee for 12 months from the show.
When the club lifted the suspension, so did the show.
Lee entered a guilty plea and the trial brought fwd at short notice and he was sentenced accordingly.
In light of those events Lee is now permanently banned from Phoenix FM.
If anybody requires further clarification on this matter please contact Paul Golder via the Phoenix Website.
