Former deputy chairman with a very interesting story to tell. Tbh one of the most interesting guests we've had. All of us in the studio wish Nick all the best going fwd as he recovers from serious illness and rebuilding his life post prison
I’m sure a lot of serious criminals have “interesting” stories to tell. Who have you got on next week? Ian Huntley?
That's a bit poor from you. A former deputy chairman of Orient who is willing to come onto the show and talk openly about his growing up supporting the club, his success in business leading to becoming vice chairman of the club, his wrongdoing and the price it has cost him. He has lost a lot, deservedly so by his own admission, but he has battled cancer recently and has just had a pancreatic op, I think he's been brave to face up and be honest and open about everything. To even bring a child murderer into the conversation is very poor from you.
If you bothered to listen rather than assume you'd find the chat interesting I am sure. Anyway all of us on the show do wish Nick all the best going fwd. He did wrong, he's paid a price for that and he deserves a 2nd chance.
No he doesn’t. He’s a grifter who would shaft anyone. I wouldn’t pee on him if he was on fire.

He took from the wealthy so who cares. Greedy people not happy to invest it in a High Street Bank. The likes of Richard Caring still rolling in it. Hardly the likes of Beryl in her Leyton council flat with a couple of grand

Most working class people have none so nil. Struggling to pay our utility bills. Not an issue for people investing in options. They get greedy instead of investing with a Post Office savings account

Sorry but I’m not interested in listening to criminals.

What kind of a show lists a convicted conman as its friend?

Does the club know about this? I’m sure the current owners wouldn’t want their club associated with a serious fraudster.

It's a really tough listen. The 'interview' goes along the lines of 'So, how much did you make in 1985? Wow!' then 'How much did you make in 1986? Wow!' etc etc.

There's no remorse or acceptance of any wrong doing, 'Beano' just blames it all on some unlucky investments and bad reporting of the case.

Close call between who's the biggest a-hole, Leven or the sychophantic interviewers. Probably the Orient Hour numpties for having him on the programme.

A working class lad done good and a modern-day Robin Hood to boot. What's not to like? More of this, I say.

I totally agree although he did seem to forget about the "give to the poor" bit. Must have slipped his mind. He rubbed shoulders with the likes of Sir Philip Green too - what a guy!

It has to be the sycophants who don't even know they're being conned just like those other rich mugs.

What has any of that got to do with Leyton Orient? Shouldn’t this be on a true crime podcast instead?

Maybe the Orient Hour "wannabe's" were hoping for some tips.
